Her owner, Shiwon, writes-
"A year ago today, Mogwai was wrenched from our lives, from her home. Not a day goes by that we don't think about her and miss her dearly. We will never give up the hope that she will be found and returned to us. Moggie will be 5 now, she is a speyed female Shih Tzu x Llasa Apso x Australian Terrier and is microchipped. She emigrated from New Zealand with us almost 3 years ago. Do the right thing and send her back to us where she belongs."

You can see from the photos how much Mogwai was cherished. I hope someone reads this, recognises her, and does the right thing.

i have contacted the vet dealing with the deceased dog found in frampton mansell and they say that this is not mogwai, so the search continues

Thnks Jo Glos, great support as always. I had a search this morning along the verges on the main road outside and the wood next to the cricket ground. The lake is going to be checked this afternoon, as it is covered in weed at the moment

Try @lostboxuk on twitter..they are also on facebook..very effective for lost pets. Scour gumtree and preloved every day too. Investigate any traveller sites out towards Lechlade and beyond to Oxford as you're on that route. Check the pets and puppies page daily on dragondriving.co.uk and register it on the lost page there, check pets4homes.co.uk and dogsandpuppies.co.uk daily - thieves will try to sell her as a shih tzu, not a cross.

Yes, thank you Megan! Still no news. We've called all the shelters & vets we couldn't over the weekend and we're putting flyers in vets, pet shops and saddleries today. Any other suggestions gratefully received as we're running out of ideas and need to feel like we're doing something! I jump every time I hear the phone ring... :-(

Hello everyone. Thanks for your support. Yes, we do believe she was stolen, she never wanders, we've done a grid search of the estate, we've gone door to door throughout the village, we have put up flyers on lampposts and noticeboards in Preston, Bibury, Barnsley, Fairford, Siddington and visited Burford Blue Cross. We have contacted all the vets and shelters we can over the weekend. My husband also visited the travellers camp between Siddington & Kemble. I've also emailed all the 'wanted' adverts on preloved with her description requesting contact if they're offered a dog like her. Any other tips would be very much appreciated.

Mogwai was last seen at 2.30 in the stable yard then vanished . She may have cut her feet as bloody pawprints were seen on the ground. Owners only got back last night and have started searching and about to poster the area. Im about about to email her poster and advice sheets

• If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
• Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
• A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (88117)
• Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
• You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
