We do not know the family circumstances and what issues may be involved, and it is not our place to speculate or discuss on a public site. From what Majorjet says, this was a decision made after much discussion between the people involved and I think we can leave it at that.

What the hell? ..Thought Charlies owners were devastated that he was missing..so how come he's going to live with his finder?.. I'm really confused!

CHARLIE has been FOUND and after a long discussion with owner/finder it has been decided he will stay with the family who found him.

Thank you to the finder for contacting DogLost and wish you and CHARLIE a very happy future together.

A family is pleading for help in their search for a much-loved dog that has transformed the lives of two autistic schoolchildren.

Pet dog Charlie has been missing from the home of Kensington mum Angela Berry since he disappeared on Thursday.

The news has devastated the 40-year-old’s children Kaitlyn and Michael, who have taken the puppy to their hearts since he entered their lives.

Charlie, a seven month old Lhasa Apso, went missing on Thursday when Angela visited the PDSA on Stanley Road, Bootle. She left him in the car with the window down and, when she returned a few minutes later, he was gone..........

Thanks paul for posting, the found has been checked out and is not Charlie. Would of been fab if it was. Does look well looked after and sure it will be back home soon. The search for Charlie goes on. x

Have registered Charlie on behalf of owner and have been in touch with friend of owner who is helping in the search for him. Have also been alerted by HA/DL helper. Will do a fb share post a.s.a.p. and email info/advice to friend to pass onto owner.

Charlie needs to be home, children are very upset and have not been able to sleep. Please MAKE CHARLIE TOO HOT TO HANDLE. Thanks
