Maybe get the train from St Thomas to Starcross and back and keep a look out of the window at the trackside and surrounding fields. I know that the Transport Police hasn't had any reports of dogs on the railway line, but it would be a worth double checking. Exeter Eagles BMX Club is adjacent to the railway near where Dougal went missing, may be check with them?

Hoping Dougal is found safe and sound soon.
Have shared his details of Labraddodle.org.uk open forum.

How did he go missing, did he get a fright? Does he know the area?
Put up loads of posters at various enterance points. Its a big area but many folks walk their dogs ther so stay hopeful.
Maybe even try email the businesses on Marsh Barton.
