- I am following the posts about Bramble the dog that got mauled in Northern Ireland. This lab isn’t Buster as they think he’s only 5-6 years old. But thank you for thinking of Buster x
- 2022-02-26 20:50 CR
- I think unlikely given age but Are you aware of the dog mauled in Northern Ireland where likely chip was ripped out?

- Even though it has been four years since Buster went missing. Poster around the area, and post flyers through door too. Hand out as many posters as you can; where and when you can. Posters may jog memories on the day Buster went missing Ask family, friends, and neighbours to share as well as DL. Twitter too. Post a LOST CAT ad in a National newspaper too. "Spread the word" Paws xd.

- Possible sighting, copied post:-
A Kaye Garner has messaged me the following on a page I posted on. Is there anyone who lives around here to keep an eye out for this dog ? 💙💙💙💙
Hi 2days ago I was in my kitchen window and I seen a dog really much like this wondering up and down my road he had a brown thick collar and no owner he looked skinny not a young dog.. I didn't get chance to go and get him as I was on my own with my kids.. I've not seen him since but that was in Nuneaton on Salisburys drive.. I've not seen him since so maybe someone has got him or gone back home if he lives around here but he does look alot like this missing dog. - 2015-08-25 10:14 Riverlady

- Sam there can't be anyone in your area now who doesn't know about Buster. I so hope he is found soon. No one could have done more to get their pet back than what you've done. My heart breaks for you. Just a definate sighting would be great, it would give you an area to concentrate on. Good luck at Stoneleigh.
- 2015-08-01 22:05 Ellie
- Thank you Maggie
Also took Busters poster and other local lost ones to a DogLost stand at a charity show today and will take to the Pet Show DogLost stand at Stoneleigh tomorrow (again with other missing Central pets). Do hope this brings news for some - 2015-08-01 18:11 Maggie

- I don't think anyone has a confirmed sighting of Buster - just that a Yellow Labrador was seen at Gresley. As I've said several times, Yellow Labradors are very popular dogs, we've got several in our small village & Buster could be anywhere by now. I just wish he'd turn up and show himself so that we can have a confirmed sighting.
- 2015-07-25 16:38 Sam
- Is it a confirmed sighting of Buster!! As all I've heard is that a yellow Labrador has been sighted at Gresley, so can't understand why it's been put on here that he has been sighted.

- Just to update people, yesterday someone reported seeing a Yellow Labrador running loose in Gresley, which isn't too far from where Buster went missing. People are concentrating their search in this area at the moment. I wish he could be found safe and well, his owner & helpers have put so much effort into finding him, far more than anyone I've known in over 23 years of ''petsearching''.

- Sam. It sounds like you have got all sites covered (some I didn't even know about). Have you had any more sightings?. I really hope that Buster is home real soon. Good Luck xLast edited: 2015-07-26 08:36:23 by charlie and sooty

- Have you posted on the Facebook pages of veterinary surgeons. Many have a Facebook page and these are looked at by many people. Also, they often have links to other useful sites. If you want a quick way of finding the contact details of these veterinary surgeons I can put it on here for you. You can cover large areas doing this. Do you have sites called "What's on in (name of town)" which have Facebook pages.

- The Little Orton sighting is definitely a yellow lab, seen by a local person. There are various other possible
sightings reported. But none have been verified 100%. All sightings and possibilities are being followed up. Last edited: 2015-07-17 19:35:38 by Owl - 2015-07-17 17:21 Ellie

- had a possible sighting in Donisthorpe today, a yellow Labrador seen by itself heading into Donisthorpe woodland park, spent 2 hours looking round and calling him plus also putting up more posters and speaking to people walking around. Will be going back tomorrow with a BBQ to cook some sausages and bacon to entice the Labrador out

- Buster is remarkably fit for his age and loves walking so could have gone quite some way.
- 2015-06-26 19:05 Owl
- We got a decent scent with just the right weather conditions. It led us around the network of footpaths in Appleby Magna and finally out of the village to the A444 at Appleby Parva. Wispa was picking up air scent from Twycross direction and was keen to head that way, but we couldn't track along this very busy main road as it is narrow with no verges or pavement. So the publicity will now be extended to Twycross and other villages and outlying farms in that area.
- 2015-06-26 17:29 Ellie
- Grateful thanks to Owl and Wispa who went out tracking today. No doubt she will update page. Do hope Buster will be found safely soon
