- Just go out postering everywhere and anywhere - if you go out somewhere for the day take posters and stick them up there too - give them to people on the train/bus/in the street. Never stop - thanks to this activity (especially Shelagh handing them out up and down the country, at motorway services and shopping centres, etc) Monty the miniature English bull terrier has just been rescued from 30 miles away by Essex Police after 5 months of no sign - only due someone seeing the posters and tipping off DogLost. Don't give up hope but keep the publicity going as far and wide as you can.

- And thank you everyone for all your advice! We have taken it all on board and are doing everything we can! We have been postering everywhere and are now in the process of printing missing leaflets to put through doors. COME HOME KYSON. WE MISS YOU TOO MUCH! And we now have a new addition to the family for you to meet!! xx

- Hey everyone!! Sorry I haven't been able to reply. My daughter gave birth to my first grandchild and I have been a bit preoccupied! This doesn't mean we have given up on Kyson and I have been checking the found dogs on a daily basis to see if there is any dog resembling our Kyson! We have maybe had a bit of information and are trying to act upon it!! A neighbour spotted a suspicious male taking down all the posters in the local area, late one night a few days back. She says he seemed to be trying to hide what he was doing and was trying to keep his head down as if he didn't want anyone to recognize him. She watched which way he went and we are now in the process of putting more posters up around this area. As he was on foot, we hope he is local and possibly Kyson is too!! Fingers crossed we hear something x

- Melissa, we can't advise owners to go to other services unless we know & trust them. Just be aware that most make you pay for the same help we are giving for free. Angel Scanners are connected to DogLost and so is Petlog. So if anyone finds Kyson, and scans with an angel scanner we will all be alerted as it will show missing immediately and Kyson can be siezed there and then by the dog warden or vets, or police. Mel, get those posters up all over and share on twitter and facebook. We are doing that too. x
- 2015-06-24 16:12 Shelagh
- Email a poster to vets,a bit outside area as well as local. Medivets are great send one ,they will send to all branches. Send to wanstead goddards, parmeston, pdsa, woodford. Have you done all relevant wardens,Newham walthamforest,Enfield.

- Woodford green, Buckhurst hill, and surrounding areas are not far from where dog was lost, is it worth expanding the areas notified
- 2015-06-21 19:58 Melissa76
- Kimmy is it worth using an online service such as stolen and stray pet recovery? Have you heard of them or anyone who has used them?
- 2015-06-21 18:08 Melissa76
- His details are already registered with Angel scanners by Petlog!!
- 2015-06-21 18:03 Melissa76
- Thanks again Kimmy for your help. I will email Kysons microchip number to the admin team now. He is registered missing with Petlog, I will also log his details with Angel scanners too x
- 2015-06-21 15:50 Kimmybear - Area Co-ordinator, Essex & Hertfordshire borders
- Can you let Admin know his chip number please. We are linked into Angel scanners and it will show immediately he is missing - as long as you have called the chip company to tell them! It is confidential - no one can see it except those who need to.

- Mel, you are doing everything right, just keep on doing it over and over. The police force has a duty to register as stolen if you belive that. Tell them to read their own rule book. If you have a raalway near, you really do need to pester the station and Network Rail. All too often dogs get missed by them or they disappear before owners are aware. If you have a track near, I can tell you what to do. Check with the main Higways Agency for your area - this can be another call that may be fraught with issues and lack of assistance - persevere. Call the council's cleansing team and see if they have found any dogs on roads. This is just to rule it all out, okay? Apart from those things, the posters are the biggest single way of finding Kyson. You need to make him too hot to handle. It can be done, make it your mission. We are here to support you. Also, check for any rivers, canals, water works etc. It is very possible someone has found him and is simply keeping him, so we let the world know he is yours and is missing. We also let them know he is neutered (so can't be breed from - excellent). Does the dog warden know? Ask him/her if they check dogs on the road? Most do not, but occasionally some do. Perseverence pays off. You need 100's of posters, even black & white photocopies - they survive in the rain without covers. If Kyson is insured, insurance should pay for posters. Make little flyers and and out to school kids at school gates - they often see things we don't. Give to postmen, taxi & bus drivers, dustmen, park rangers, all dog walkers. And poster hevaily inside the pubs!!!! Dogs get taken and sold in pubs. Let's find your fur baby! You can do it! x

- Kyson is still missing! We have not given up and are still looking for him. We don't know what else to do and starting to feel at a loss now! If anyone has ANY information as to his whereabouts please please get in contact!!
- 2015-06-19 19:51 Melissa76
- Thank you Kimmybear, for your advice. I have registered Kyson lost with the police but they say as I didn't see him being stolen there is no evidence to say he has been! They have just filed him as missing I think. I didn't think of the highways department and network rail. I will get on to them tomorrow. My daughter is out putting more posters up as we speak!!! People can be quite nasty and loads have already been ripped down but we will persevere and GO POSTER EVERYWHERE!! Again thank you for your help. I will keep you posted xx

- Owner, hang in there. I am emailing you with advice. If you think he was stolen you must call police and they have a duty to investigate if you believe stolen, which is very possible from what you have said. Don't despair, we get many dogs back that have been stolen; we just need to work hard. Start getting loads of posters up in that area and then further out. Someone must know something. Emailing you now. x

- Kyson went missing near Craigs park, Edmonton, N18 on Thursday 11th June whilst being walked by my daughter. He was there one minute then a few minutes later he was gone. This was between 9.30pm and 10pm. My daughter said he went around the corner and she followed him to find him gone. She is distraught and feels lost without him. He has very recently been neutered. He is greatly missed and we badly want him home. He is a very friendly dog who just wants to play with everybody. We are getting very anxious the longer time goes by. If anybody has seen or know his whereabouts please please please let us know.
