- It was totally heartbreaking going round to get the posters today :(
I picked up 11, but couldn't go too far from the car as Milly was too exhausted from the beach this morning & didn't want to get out, so just got all the ones I could drive to, sorry if I've missed any.
Really feel for poor Georgia & her family who searched tirelessly, so wish life wasn't so unfair xxxx

- Georgia has just rung me to thank everyone for their efforts. I'm adding my thanks to you all too. Especially those who took time to go searching and postering.
Georgia is not on Fbk but this was posted by her sister from her:
"Our heart breaks in mourning for the loss of our little Lola. Our rock through so many tough times and comforter in hours of need. We've taken great solace in that she's now with her brother, but her departure has left an irreplaceable hole in our hearts. Thank you to everyone who shared, search and prayed for her. We are forever in your debt"
Lola was found and taken to the vets in the early hours after being found on the road several miles away but they said to take peace in the fact that she would not have known anything about it.
Georgia is only young but she did absolutely everything (and more) to try and find her girl, much more than most owners I have helped. She should take comfort in that and also that Lola had a wonderful life with her being a much loved member of her family.
Run free Lola. - 2015-06-23 09:02 wibble58

- I'm so sorry to say that little Lola has not made it home.
I have just had a telphone call from Georgia who is understandably inconsolable saying that Lola was found on Kitchenham Rd by someone who took her into Senlac vets.
Georgia lost her Bull Terrier about a week ago, suddenly due to kidney failure, so I can't imagine how she must be feeling now. She has done everything and more to try to find her little Lola and I am so sorry it has had to end this way for her.
Run free little Lola :( Last edited: 2015-06-23 08:18:09 by Clarkey - Area Co-ordinator, East Sussex - 2015-06-22 18:58 TK - Area Volunteer, East Sussex
- Georgia, you are doing all the right things, word is getting around, lots of people looking out for her, the route you have done this afternoon will help her find her way back and will be a safe route away from the roads...
Like I said last night, it does take a couple of days for dogs to calm down, rest, find there bearings and then try to retrace their steps.. am sure there will ve some news soon x

- I've been down to where she was sighted and I've walked in a relatively straight line across country back to my parents. I'm cut, grazed, bruised and stinging but at least she's got a fresh scent back to my parents completely off-road. I keep expecting to see her pop up somewhere but alas, not. No more sightings, just have to keep sharing it via social media. I rung all the vets, dog warden, police, animal transporters, boarding kennels, hunt, & animal sanctuary in the area. Starting to loose hope now x

Then drove up past the garden centres onto North Trade Rd and down into Battle ..
Lots of posters up in Catsfield, I didnt meet anyone to ask, but There is a poster at the School so parents will see it ...
Owner again has been out all day searching, just hope there is another sighting very soon ..
May need to start postering a bit further afield, Ninfield & Battle tomorrow..

Fingers crossed for news soon x - 2015-06-22 16:31 shelleyD

- Still NO sign!! More than worrying now due to the rain. If she's out there she's going to not only be frightened- but cold & wet and being so so small she won't survive long. Im going to head into the village today and do more posters/flyers. Thank you so so much to everyone that's been out looking and sharing via social media!! I appreciate it more than u'll ever know!!
Also, ShelleyD pls could u text me when U get a sec. Ur number has disappeared from my phone x - 2015-06-21 23:36 Clarkey - Area Co-ordinator, East Sussex

shelleyD you have done so much and it is really appreciated.
TK and I went to meet Georgia this evening and were shown exactly where Lola was lost and had been seen running too. Good to hear of the sighting and to see all the posters up everywhere. As we were leaving the area we stopped to have a quick look at the Church to see if Lola could hide out there and Ali appeared! Thanks to Ali and daughter for going out to search for Lola.
Really impressed to see how much Georgia is doing to find her little dog and at all the help and support she is being given.
Lola was at Georgia's fathers house when she went missing but her owner lives in St. Leonards. If anyone found Lola and took her to safety they would probably take her to their own home which is likely to be Battle, Bexhill or Hastings/St.Leonards. Vets in these areas have already been alerted.
Admin: Please would you send out extra alerts to TN35 and TN37-TN40?

- Someone from potman's lane called me this afternoon and said they say Lola at approx 5pm last night travelling down church road by the primary school heading towards the village. No one else in the area has seen her but everyone is aware she's missing. We've put some posters up, but I also have a 4 month old baby, so when she goes to bed tonight, I will go back down into the village & put more posters up. Please can everyone keep their eyes open, tweeting, face booking ect. I'm devastated, I've broken down multiple times. Just want to know she's ok!!

- Thanks so much shelleyD for going out to help Georgia. Also the SarahW and TK.
I am working today so can't go and search or poster which is very frustrating. However, I had another talk with Georgia this morning and she is definitely doing everything she can to find Lola.
TK both the DW's and the Police have been informed. Dogs do not always show on the website as it is not always updated at the weekend.
I have advised Georgia to put posters through letterboxes locally as someone may have taken her in and not reported finding her to the Dog Wardens (which is required by law) as not everyone knows ours are a 24/7 service.
Also to put them into Redcoats and Great Farm Park farm shops, entrances to the footpaths to Normanhurst woods and the Caravan Club site there too, the shop at Catsfield and the petrol station etc.
Would be a good idea to go to Wilton Hse stables to give them a few posters to in case Lola went over to the woods that way. So many woods but if poss posters in car parks and footpath entrances would help.
I have shared to all the local pages .. Hastings Dog Lovers, Bexhill Dog Lovers, Pet search Hastings etc so if someone can keep an eye on the comments it would be helpful :)
Other places good to poster wld be the local pubs as Sunday is the day a lot of people will walk and then got to eat.
Any one who can help please call Lola's owner Georgia on the number above. Many thanks. Last edited: 2015-06-21 12:46:03 by Clarkey - Area Co-ordinator, East Sussex - 2015-06-21 12:27 TK - Area Volunteer, East Sussex

- Still no sign-I've been out all night, my mum joined me at 5 this morning. Anyone local please check barns/sheds incase she's gone to ground somewhere. She's very timid but she'll be absolutely starving as not eaten for nearly 36 hours so hoping she'll be a little braver! Just need a sighting so I can comb one area rather than such a large area! I'm absolutely devastated, she's my baby!! £500 reward courtesy of my partner x

- I have just spoken with Georgiaa-s and Lola has gone missing at her father's farm. She ran off from their garden and was seen in Church Rd but then went into the fields of their farm. She was scared by their Alpacas and they think shewent through into their neighbours property and may be hiding in one of the barns now.
Everything that was in the email advice had already been done by the time I rang so that's really good..well done Georgiaa-s! So bedding has been left and Lola's owner and father have walked to and fro from the place that she was last seen which means that a good fresh scent trail has been left.
I am hoping that like most dogs Lola will calm down and follow this trail back o the farmhouse by the morning. Probably by first light when it is all quiet.
Oh and the Alpacas have been shut away from the area where they frightened little Lola! Again, good thinking and well done!
I did offer to go out and help her look for Lola tonight but we decided that she might get scared if she saw a stranger so I will not be going out there unless she is not home by the morning.
Not much else I can do so I or Georgiaa-s will update this page in the morning.
