Great news from vets. Collie-boy has scuffing to both paws on left hand side and some bruising. Other than usually things of straying dogs,he is fine, and it seems acting like his never been away. Stay safe sweet boy.x

Absoultely fantastic news! Shelagh, thank you for letting me know earlier. I will now move Pie (aka collie boy) into the blue! I am so happy! Welcome home sweetheart. Harry it is lovely to see your message. From what I hear you did really well and did everything right. Well done indeed. We are so lucky to have Shelagh & Ron your way - they are fantastic. I so hope Pie is okay, injury wise, and hopefully it is just bruising that is well on the mend. Bless his little heart. Well done everyone. Another fantastic result! Kisses for Pie. x

Shelagh. You and Ron are amazing. Thank you so much for your wonderful help. Without you I don't know how we would have kept going. Your positivity and focus on the job at hand is outstanding. DogLost is an amazing charity that we are so grateful to have found. Pie is amazingly happy since home and has been playing with his friend Archie, and his toys, and been asleep on the bed with the children that he adores. So wonderful to have him home. Thank you DogLost.

Fantastic news. Collie-boy aka Pye is found.!!!. He took himself off golf course onto lane, and decided to hide under bush in somebody's front garden. Thankfully person had knowledge of dogs and after a while managed to coax him out. Neigh our had seen poster so was able to phone owner. It seems his left side is tender and he starving, dehydrated and filthy. He is at vets now so will update with any further news. Welcome home sweet Pye.

Thank you bubbles. I'm afraid BBQ out of question as golf course. We are using cooked food to tempt him out,but at moment he too scared. However foxes are happy. We will be setting up two feeding stations tonight as time is running bit short. Rabbit shooters use golfcourse and they have agreed to stay away until sSaturday. Not sure if can extend. We are gathering more info on collie-boys movements daily and hope we can get him soon.Owners are doing all right things regarding scenting etc so it just a waiting game

The smell of bacon, burgers or sausages may entice the dog out. Anywhere close by last sighting that these could be cooked. Owners could sit and wait to see if the dog comes out. If he does then put food on floor and let him come to it, look the other way and say nothing, keep on putting food down until he is not so frightened.

Back from 4 hour search for collie-boy. Discovered the other half of golf course today. Of course none of us new it existed until today,it is very very close to m25. After I left owner saw him, that first time any of use have had clear sighting. Owners been there most of day and one still there now. We have at least two regular timed daily locations, and possibly one hide out. Also nearly all his triangle. I really hope owner can get him tonight. If not I no he is going back early hours to try again. Fingers crossed.
Shelagh
He was seen golf course this morning.

Thanks janiejewel1649. We will see if anybody sees him today and consider that. The prob is he is a very young farm dog and he is very very scared. He seems to have found a place slightly off the main golf course and hopefully that can settle him. He was not seen by owner this morning, which is worrying.

Hi Shelagh. Is it possible to set a trap with the dogs scent inside, along with the owners scent too, in the area where tbhis dog has been seen?
Shelagh
I'm afraid we still couldn't catch little boy. Golf course was clear and myself Ron and owners search for hour and half with no luck. Ron spotted eyes in cluster of trees and we could make out dashes of white moving in line of trees.we waited and when Ron on route to dogs bed he saw a dog run past at top of hill at great speed.Although Ron was too far away to identify it properly we believe it to be this little guy. On returning to clump of trees we again saw eyes and flashes of white. Owner has scented routes to his bed. We now have a route for half of his triangle. Owner is going back in early hours to try to locate him again. He is a young dog under a year .

Stewards green road runs along back of golf course,it is where field lies where collie boy was hiding last night. If anybody is watching for him here would be good spot. Owner reports although she couldn't see collie boys condition he was moving freely and was not carrying any noticeable injuries.

Shelagh says they have lots of helpers for gold course, but if any one does want to help, people are needed to sit and watch for Collie boy around the other locations, Ivy Chimneys & Coopersdale schools, please. And poster those places too. Thank you. I am changing name from "unknown" to Collie boy, so we have something to call him. x

Well done girls!

This little guy is still on golf course. He was seen at 4.30 and 6.30 by kind helper. Owner saw him at 7.00 but despite her doing all right things he never appeared again. The golf course is extremely busy and people were there at 5.00am,they are whizzing about in golf buggies. Yesterday some well meaning golfers chased him and he went to ground. The golf club people have been very helpful even providing us with buggy use to get to sightings. They are asking people not to chase him if seen. We have decided we will all go back to note when most have left and try to get him then. I'm pretty sure he won't try to leave as way too much activity. Anyway that chance we have to take. His bed scented item and water have been left
