- Well we had quite a day yesterday! It started at 1.45am with a phone call from two men who had seen they thought Russi running down a main road about 3miles from us. They had stopped and tried to catch her but she ran up a bank and disappeared. One of them realised he had seen her on a lost poster so they went and got the tele no and rang us and we went straight out and met one of them where they had seen her.We searched the area with the help of a couple of passing policemen but three was no sign of her. Got up at 7.00am and went and did another search for her in daylight where she was spotted but no luck! As the location was very close to a large park near us Margaret contacted a friend who had a cousin who lives in the park and he came back to us to tell us he might have seen Russi on monday morning. We then went to put posters up in a part of the park that is a wildlife sanctury called Pauls Pond. As this is wooded and very quiet thought it could be a good place for her to hide and decided we would check it again at dusk. We also had another call from a women who said she thought she had seen Russi in the park near the Cafe. Checked the main park for her in the afternoon. About 7.00 pm got a call from a nieghbor to say they had gone to Pauls Pond to look for Russi and had seen her. When she saw them she had run away into some fields. We went to join them with two other friends and started searching. As there was no sign at 9.00 pm we decided to give up and go home. We then got a phone call from a nieghbor to say Russi was on the mown grass field behind our house, she had gone 3-4 miles from where we were searching! So we all rushed home on the way ringing another neighbor and asking them to keep an eye on her until we arrived. She rang back to say she had gone into our garden and she had shut the gate on her so she could not escape. She must have run accross the golf course and the way she was going must have crossed her usual walk route and followed that home. She is uninjured but very dirty and scruffy and is asleep on the sittee next to me as I type this. Thanks to everybody for there support and help

- Looking at the sightings that have come in so far it indicates Russi may be moving within a triangle and I suspect she may be coming out mostly during the night or early morning .... when there are less people about Last edited: 2015-07-02 11:38:45 by Jumanji - Co-ordinator.South.Yorkshire

- After seeing the posters a man has come forward with a SIGHTING of Russi on Saturday night in Horsforth near Mc Donalds about an hour after she ran off. He is pretty certain it was her so her owners are going search and put posters up in this area. Other sightings indicate she may have retraced her way back to the Lawnswood Arms area afterwards

- BUMPING for a possible SIGHTING this morning near the Lawnswood Arms.
Owners are searching in this area
Russi is a nervous dog and escaped from the house she was staying at on Saturday and was sighted nearby by 2 girls an hour later at 7pm . She was seen again on Sunday afternoon still in the same area. Her own home is fairly close by and her owners are hoping she will make her way back there or return to the garden she ran off from.
Dog wardens and microchip company have been informed and her owners have put up posters and are actively searching.
Hoping Russi is back home again very soon Last edited: 2015-06-29 21:46:43 by Jumanji - Co-ordinator.South.Yorkshire - 2015-06-29 21:10 Jumanji - Co-ordinator.South.Yorkshire
