Cody has been found!! We are over the moon! Thank you all so much for your help! I am sure it was everyone who has shared the news online that made the people who had him dump him on the side of the road.. He is very shaken up but so pleased to be home. We are all speechless at the kindness and selflessness of everyone who has shared and helped look. Thank you so much.

I see on the Paws in Berkshire Facebook page that Cody is back home.A friend found him in a park in Maidenhead, with minor injuries and was taken to a vet.

Hi Hannah,
there has been no mention of Cody's theft in the crime updates for Maidenhead this week.
https://www.thamesvalleyalert.co.uk/WandMnews
If reported and you have a crime number I would expect to see it here. These updates are emailed to many members and read by many who do not bother with social media.
You might check with Jeff why it hasn't. Every pair of eyes counts.

Hi Gabby, Monica will be out looking tomorrow at around lunch time. If you are about and are available to look she would really love your help. Not to worry if not, but here is her mobile number anyway 07903567089, just let her know. Thank you so much for your help thus far. Everyone has been amazing.

Cody has been added to Bullies In Need web site I hope he is home soon

I've just heard from a lady who said she saw Cody running down the A4 in front of Sainsburys, on the day he went missing. She said he came from Cookham Road. If you arrange a search I have spoken to a lot of people who would like to help.

Hannah I've been researching the area today, and have been asking on Facebook if anyone has any CCTV around the Vicarage Road area.
A few places you may want to ask if they have CCTV:
Lunch Box 34 Cordwallis Road, Grub Hut 74 Cordwallis Road, Cordwallis Industrial Estate, Italian and Continental Stores, Norfolk Park Store 42 Vicarage Road and someone suggested a shop on the corner of vicarage road called Mace?
I've rang the shop numbers but no answer yet x

Skywalker99 - I've also looked at the map.
Hannah, these are just some of the exits and roads near to Vicarage Road:
A308, St.Lukes Road, Cookham Road, Norfolk Road, Cordwallis Road, Clivemont Road, Belmont Road, Craufurd Rise, Bad Godesberg Way, Castle Hill, Gringer Hill and Kennet Road. Also worth checking the Magnet Leisure Centre for CCTV in case they passed by.

I looked at the map...there are six possible exits from the area CODy was stolen onto A308 orCookham road...hopefully CCTV near to them, hope police are checking (I would be making sure they were). You need posters throughout Maidenhead...and Slough too as not far away...put one up in that new tesco on the A4.Last edited: 2015-07-02 13:52:26

Thanks for your update Hannah.
That's a shame about the CCTV. Maybe try further roads around the road he was stolen from, and any companies and businesses nearby.
It would be a good idea for you to arrange a search- a date and time for the public to help you search. Hopefully we're making Cody too hot to handle and fingers crossed he'll be dumped somewhere soon, maybe a field or park. So all the fields and parks around Maidenhead will be a good place to check for him!
That's great if they run a story on him!
Thanks Hannah.
Did Monica see the faces of the men who stole Cody? Does she have a description of them or what they were wearing?
Unknown
The A308 and/or Cookham road must have CCTV? Make sure the police are checking it.
Hannahc
Thank you all so much for your help and suggestions. We did have a look for any CCTV but couldn't see any cameras. We have just been ringing round vets etc again with no luck. Will be walking around Maidenhead again this afternoon. Monica (Cody's owner) is calling the local paper now to try and get them to run a story. Gabby thank you for your kind offers of help, I will let Monica know.
gabby_x
Any update from the police?
Just a thought, could you drive around the roads he was stolen from and ask anywhere that may have CCTV to check around the time he was stolen for a Renault Clio, that way you may be able to get a number plate? Please inform the owner I'm more than happy to help, whether it's putting posters up, out looking, or helping with the CCTV. x

Get hold of all Dog Wardens in your area , also vets and rehoming centres.keep checking Gumtree , preloved , Dragon driving and any other sites .... get him plastered all over Facebook and Twitter and post lots of posters.... hope he is home real soon..... it is doubtful he has been picked up for dog fighting , more likely to sell on for a quick buck xxx
