- Sad news.Just to let you know that on my local missing pet page,it says that Fred sadly died,as I was enquiring about if he was still missing.I do not know any other details, other that they found him.

- Sadly Fred's owners found some feathers in a neighbour's garden & they feel that this was probably dear Fred but this has not been confirmed .So for now, just in case an African Grey comes up as found in the local area I am keeping Fred in the Lost section for people to possibly match. Also I haven't put Fred in the Name slot as we need Parrot to come up ,really, when people search.

- An African grey has been found in Hayes UB3. It is on www Lost and found pets in Hillingdon and surrounding areas. The photo looks the same. I will put a post on there with owners mobile number so that contact may be made. Fingers crossed.

- As with previous lost parrots (2 in last month or so) - owner should immediately contact john Hayward to get this on the lost and found parrot register http://www.parrotmag.com/lost-and-found-register and any other parrot forums (birdline parrot-rescue uk, for instance). Leave parrot's cage outside where he/she might be able to see it if nearby, poster EVERYWHERE and tell everyone and keep on looking. In this hot weather the parrot is unlikely to be very vocal but first thing in the morning and at dusk might be heard. Good luck. (Also try local pet shops in case they've been handed it in and are just going to sell it on)
