- THANK YOU to all the sweet dog people who have left these kind comments. And, yes, it was unbelievable and I thought maybe he wouldn't recognise me after all this time. But he had me and the vet nurse in tears. He couldn't smile widely enough or wag enough of himself when he saw me.
So there's always hope - the vet nurse said lucky they were trained to scan all over for the microchip, his had travelled somehow so it was somewhere in the top of his right front leg. And it helped that he's the ultimate independent, headstrong, wandering escapologist - I always thought that if he wasn't dead and didn't like where he was he would find his way out somehow.
Microchips fantastic, and people looking out for dogs, fantastic. Thank you - 2016-12-28 22:55 Coco

- And RedLady, it wasn't the dog Lance either. Larkspur has feathered hocks and a strange peacock tuft on the top of his head. He's quite big too - maybe some borzoi in the mix.
- 2016-05-11 22:17 Marianne
- Thank you all so much for helping. I've been quite seriously unwell for the past year and not checking messages. Lisamarie, the Streatham dog is more tan than Larkspur who is sand and white. A bit like that poor animal in Wales who (very thankfully) is not him either.
Please keep watching out for him. I miss him - hope he's alive and if he is is having a fine time wherever he's got to.

- Male Saluki Tan in colour sighted tonight and twice in the last week in Streatham Vale, London, SW16. Very skinny boy and skittish. My friend was very close but couldn't catch him. Please see Found section on here for photo.

- Dog (been given name Lance) currently in Jacob's Pound Dogs UK. Looks slimmer than photo but worth checking.

- Just for completeness, there has been some discussion in recent days as to whether 'Sighted Only' dog 88245 in the Ewell area could be Larkspur, but as far as I'm aware this has been discounted by both those searching for the sighted dog & by Larkspur's owners.
Also, there are posters in Oaks Park, Carshalton (and quite possibly elsewhere) which refer to him as Lukspur, rather than Larkspur - just to confirm, as far as I know this is the same dog and just a spelling mistake.Last edited: 2015-07-02 21:35:22 by BlackLab - 2015-07-02 16:02 Marianne
- Many thanks, though, to you at Battersea Dogs Home for keeping track.

- No,Abbalish,is the second time. I thought I had posted his details to Dogslost in June but failed somehow. He's been gone a month now, which is the same length of time he went missing last time - came back very thin and smelly with someone else's collar on him.
- 2015-07-02 14:26 Battersea
- Is this the third time he has gone missing? We have an old report closed and another one where he was lost start of June. Is this the same time or has he gone missing again? Report is open at BDCH
