- Lottie seems to have gone missing again, this time in Nonsuch Park, wonder why owner hasn't reported her lost on here again https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10207892588614866&set=gm.810368142405644&type=3&theater

- Understand from owner's facebook page Lottie is now home. "Morning everyone. #LOTTIE'S BACK HOME! She seems absolutely fine!!! Not sure of the details where she was found etc. Will come back to you on that. We picked her up from Beddington Lane at the Thames Water place. Going straight to the vet for a check up. THANK YOU SO MUCH EVERYONE, especially Hayley. I'll send an update later when I stop crying and Lottie has been checked out! Thanks, thanks and thanks again xxxxxx"

- Looking at map, it is a large open area so tracker dog could definitely help. However, it seems odd that a dog that knows her way home should just disappear in South London, maybe needs making too hot to handle? Presume tram tracks and sewage works have been checked?

- Have messaged Jo on her Facebook page and recommended she try Jenny & Tiga before the scent is too old. Not everyone has a smart phone so if owners are out searching they won't get online messages. Maybe automated texts to the owners would be a good way of updating?

- This dog IS still missing..her owner is updating on facebook and she is local to the area. It was just shared into my timeline. Have tried to message someone who may know her to prompt her to come on here and see updates below and advice. There needs to be a cleverer way than waiting for owners needing to visit doglost etc where they've logged a dog as missing to see if there is any update..can't the site be set up so sightings and advice posted to each dogs page are automatically and instantly emailed to the owner? Would be a lot more useful when they are having a fraught and busy time searching and cannot keep coming back to the internet to check pages for any help available. She sounds like she does need some search assistance in the area... her own updates are on her facebook page, Jo Newcomb - she has a pic of the dog as her avatar on facebook

- It is worth calling Battersea Lost Dogs & Cats Line on 020 7627 9245. Lines are open from Monday to Sunday, 8am to 6pm. Croydon Dog Warden Missing or stray dog between 9am and 5pm: please call 020 8726 6000, choose option 7 for our customer service advisers, who will inform the dog warden.
Missing or stray dog out of hours: please call 020 8726 6000; you will be transferred to the emergency control room. The council operates an out-of-hours drop-off point system, between 4pm and 10pm, weekdays and 9am and 10pm on weekends and bank holidays. Worth bearing in mind that reporting a dog lost at one police station in the area does not mean that message will get through to others in the search area so check with the police where she was reported missing. - 2015-07-05 00:45 Monica - Area Volunteer, South London
- I was out for 2 hours and left at 23:00 and no sightings. I ll be out again tomorrow am. It would be helpful to find out from the owner if the dog is familiar with the area and if lives nearby or not. Praying she has been already found but info not yet updated. Stay safe lottie
