- We have just scanned a dog in the Northwest and would like to rule out this dog. The dog we have scanned has been in Manchester dogs home at some point so unlikley to be the same.
If the owner would like to compare chip numbers my number is 07931756913.Harvey's Army. X - 2017-02-24 19:56 Patlucky

- Hiya,
I live down in Kent and there has been numerous sightings of a LARGE white GSD for around a month now. The dog is very nervous and people are having problems trying to approach. Just wondered if could be related? Xxx - 2016-09-13 23:08 JANI

- I saw but could not catch a white GSD cross in Brockwell Park London SE24 today approx 8pm. Red collar. Thinner than the picture and scavenging. Friendly but would not let me approach - kept running. A couple of girls (dog lovers) were trying to catch it when I had to leave.

OK Snowy has been missing 2 months now and may have lost weight but this one is a longer haired. A feeding station is already set up and hoping to get my large trap from dog warden so the lady feeding can set it. - 2015-09-02 23:58 Kimmybear - Area Co-ordinator, Essex & Hertfordshire borders

Also, this could be the one that was running loose at the tunnel on Sunday. Can you confirm whether dog is still with you or not? If he/she comes back can you let us know on tha email? We had people trying to rescue that dog on Sunday and so if dog is still with you, we need to know. - meant to say the ID IS 91515, and we are in Kent, BR5. The white German shepherd here has been around for a week, and also seems to have been close to Dartford tunnel. No other German shepherd reported missing at all in this area or via council /RSPCA.
- 2015-09-01 15:45 #FindAmberTheGingerCat
- we have had a white german shepherd in the fields behind us for about a week now. Unable to get close enough to get hold of it but have been trying to befriend with food. Has a collar on. What colour is Snowy's collar .. looks black in the photo, but just checking if it is indeed black? We will try to post a pic later today when we get close up again. You can see details on the Found section, posted today.

- Sarah, Basidon DW will know if found dog is Snowy. We do need everyone back again now to help with a search. This is because we knew where Snowy was and she was being monitored ready to catch. But we had to tread lightly. Now we are concerned as no recent sighting. So, if you can put more posters up, a little further afield and share Snowy everywhere and/or join the search party, please do so. Remember do not chase and walk away if you see her, no eye contact. It has to be a co-ordinated effort so we can ensure all parts are covered. Tinksbaby's post has details below. Many thanks. x

- Only my opinion but I think it is worth a try.
Just one person (one of the owners.
Walks the other dog round edge of field each day (not trying to look for the dog.
Just to give Snowy the chance to be able to smell the other dog.
You have a chance she wont follow the person but WILL remember the dog.
I have seen this happen before when getting a dog back.
Snowy wont relate to people but she WILL with a dog.
Rememnbering they are a pack.
Hope this helps.
Also to get a dog that is scared come to you you need to be low down.
Only my view but I have rescued quite a few dogs in my time.
Good luck

- Right now, we just need to watch for Snowy and get more sightings, but without people en masse in cas ethey move him off again. More posters are good and if anyone want sto sit in one place and just watch, that will be great. Thank you. Have passed your emails to each other. x
- 2015-07-24 12:16 CopperM
- More posters distributed, including Makro and Asda staffrooms. About a dozen handed in to businesses in the industrial estate for display internally. One handed to mobile burger bar, but she said she'd put it up later....
Could do with more posters on lamp posts outside.
Only two people approached knew about Snowy, but others sympathetic.

- Walked the bridleway round Sweyne Park this morning. Well done to whoever put up new 'makro' inclusive posters!
Pootled around by Makro in the vain hope of spotting Snowy, but no luck. Have the units on the Industrial Estate been postered? If not, I have time this week. Facebook and I are strangers, but Kimmybear has my email address. Please let me know... Hope Jenny and Tiga are able to tracj again, as it sounded positive. - 2015-07-20 08:01 Jenny & Tiga k9tracker
- Tiga picked up the scent from the sighting at Makro and tracked a fair size loop coming back to nearby and then we had a call of another sighting not far away so we transferred ourselves to this area and when we found the right oak tree in the dark Tiga set off on a hot scent at quite a pace but we had to call it a night as we upsetting all the guard dogs in the area and we didn't want to frighten Snowy in the dark and force her to run off. It is possible that if she continued along the track Tiga was on then Snowy was heading for home but I suspect she would not have realised it.
- 2015-07-19 22:11 Debs
- Jenny & Tiga have offered help and have started tracking from 3pm today, lots of helpers and posters up.

- I took a couple of posters to Barneys pet shop and a café in the same area.(Opposite the golf course) Hullbridge road.
Lad working in Barneys is going to share on face and get friend to share too.
A man in there also walks in that area.
So have promised to take more posters.
I then drove down Watery lane checking fields.
Got out the car at Battlesbridge and walked fields where Snowy was seen.(only to see if I could see her.
Did not see her but she is probably laying low.
If I had seen her would have alerted owner.
That is what I call a clever dog.
I pray you find her soon.
Fingers crossed.Last edited: 2015-07-19 14:42:31 by Patlucky - 2015-07-19 13:17 Kimmybear - Area Co-ordinator, Essex & Hertfordshire borders

- Dogs are clever.
I guess she is trying to find her way home.
Trouble is the fields are ok but fences will stop her.
I have put a poster in Hullbridge road where there is dog training.
I have also sent a text to the a trainer this morning.
Making her aware he is about.
The fields are at the back and go to where he was seen.
Are people searching this morning if so I can come as I live about 20 minutes drive from there.Last edited: 2015-07-19 14:18:40 by Patlucky - 2015-07-19 10:07 Debs
- Organised searches between Makro and Battlesbridge. There are extensive fields where crops ATM are thigh high which is making sightings of her in the fields difficult. Horse riders are going out too so height can be an advantage, a few people were out last night / this morning including owner with their other dog. Their other dog is depressed and missing Snowy as they have never been apart before. Farmers have been made aware, there is an industrial estate nearby of which units will be made aware of snowy so if anyone is able to leaflet drop it would be appreciated. An organised search is planned for 7.45 this evening at the field by Makro. If anyone is available to come, help is much appreciated
- 2015-07-18 21:48 Ann
- Lots of people out searching tonight. Come on Snowy, show yourself.
- 2015-07-18 20:36 Ann
- My sister has just seen a white dog matching Snowys description going into the field opposite the Makro stores gates (off Rawreth Lane). We have contacted owners and they are with her searching field at present. Fingers crossed! If she has gone feral we may need to do stake out and track her movements. Team Maria you are on alert!

- Took a leaflet to D and F feeds this morning and asked horse owners to look out, lots of paddocks between Hullbridge/Battlesbridge/Rayleigh. Maybe the golf club down Hullbridge road is another place, the golfers could keep an eye out, I am sure lots of places to lay low. There is a cream german shepherd that lives locally in Rayleigh!

- Just returned from Battlesbridge! Extra posters up where there's hopefully heavy footfall at the weekend: 2 at the Stable cafe, 1 left at Trade Centre Windows for all the guys to see, 1 at Muggeridge Farm, 1at entrance to tall Granary antiques Centee, 1 in station shelter, 2 on a footpath linking the Barge area to Cromwell House area. And two more somewhere!
Lovely lady at the florist said she would print more posters off and distribute them to Horse Tack place and round that way...

- Possible sighting of Snowy in Battlesbridge last night. Owners been out early hours this morning as well. We are desperate for help with posters. Please can people living anywhere in these areas, just print one or two posters and put them up? Many thanks. Owners says Snowy went missing during the storm on 3rd, early hours, so not the sighting on the 2nd. Thank you though. x

- Just seen your comment below Kimmybear. I agree, if I saw Snowy I would think she was a GSD.. that's what I thought when I first saw her photo.Last edited: 2015-07-09 22:42:41 by Clarkey - Area Co-ordinator, East Sussex

- I'm thinking, would it be better to say white GSD? Would she been noticed better if seen or found as that breed, or husky cross? Thoughts please. Thanks. x

- Hi was it definitely Friday Snowy went missing because on Thursday evening one like this ran out in front of my car and my son tried to catch but legged it towards Hockley or Rayleigh. I drove to top of road it ran out from and was woods or bridle and today I've found out these lead from road that runs straight up from Hullbridge to top where Fitzwimarc school is.

- Sorry to see that SNOWY SIGHTED is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (89022)

- You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
- Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
- If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
- If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
