Any news yet on Chewie? Have you tried putting up posters next to pay and display machines in local car parks? As they are used by people from out of the area as well as locals it might be worth a try. Good luck!

Chewie is adorable and I hope he is found safe and well. I had a golden and they are just a joy to have around. I have postered my local area (Watford) and hope someone finds him soon.

Mother's very near to Elstree, she can put this poster up next to Pilot's !! This is Hertsmere BC territory and although I don't know when they send dogs, the nearest rescue is NAWT in Tyler's Way, off the A41. Local newspaper is the Borehamwood & Elstree Times 020 8953 3391. Posters need to be put up in the area a.s.a.p. lamposts, entrances to parks, vets, petshops, ask postie, milkmen, binmen (even put poster on bins), schools, deliver to houses etc. Handout smaller posters to people, especially dog walkers. Put A4 poster in car windows. Check Police station and Dog Warden. RSPCA and rescue centres need checking regularly and preferably visited in person, by owner or someone who knows Chewie. xx

I've posted details onto a Golden Retriever group I'm on. I'm too far away to help,but hope you find this beautiful boy soon. Hopefully he won't have strayed far, so it's worth printing out business-card size pieces of paper with your details on so if anyone sees him when they're out they can call you straightaway. Give the information to all the dog walkers you see and ask them to circulate it. Good luck.
