- Where Found RTA lying dead on A34 southern bypass dual carriageway section southbound carriageway close to junction of A34 and Stanley Close. I could not stop as I was driving and road was very busy, lots of cars

- The animal is still there I'm afraid...it's right against the kerb in the middle of the road on the southbound carriageway of the A34 right after the turning for North Hinksey

- It is possible that it could have been a muncjac deer,as there have been many reports of sandy yellowish brown medium size dogs on major roads on missing pet sites.I saw one myself.Driving along a busy road,it is difficult to get a good look.I reported my sighting to my council highways dept.If it was a dog,perhaps they can check for a scan.Thanks for reporting it,just in case someone is missing their dog around there.

- Posted this in the hope someone can get closure. Very busy road, lots of traffic, dog was a medium size dark yellow/tan colour, possibly cross breed, but difficult to tell as traffic was moving quickly and I could not stop. Dog was lying on main A43 near central reservation close to the junction of A34 and Stanley Close. RIP little one.Last edited: 2015-07-12 08:38:02 by labrador lil

Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
