I was over at Jolly's (pet Superstore) yesterday which is very near to where the dogs disappeared. I thought it was worth putting a poster up on their notice board (but unfortunately I didn't have one with me). If anyone is going to be in that area, (Willenhall) Jolly's are happy to display a poster free of charge. It might be worth a shot - someone in the area may remember seeing something.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

So sorry to hear about Stella and Becks. I hope that they are found safe and well very soon. However, I do wonder if some of the 'sightings' in the WV3 area could in fact be my dogs who look remarkably similar to Stella and Becks, particularly the pup who is the same age as my own. I had to look twice at the photo myself. The main difference is that mine are both bitches. I regularly walk mine in the Merry Hill/Warstones area as well as 'the old railway track' between Tettenhall and Wombourne - both areas that the dogs have been seen in. My dogs are usually pretty close to me. If anyone does see me (blond woman rapidly approaching forty) with the two dogs please feel free to approach me and ask (as 3 nice ladies did near to Compton this morning). I won't be offended in any way and it could save the owner of Stella and Becks a lot of heartache. (I'd imagine that frequent sightings of the dogs that are unsubstantiated would be soul-destroying). If you are approaching me please put your dog on a lead, if you have one. Whilst I'm very friendly myself my dogs are less favourably inclined to their canine chums. In the meantime I'll continue to keep my eyes open for Stella and Becks and hope that they return home really soon.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

An ad has been in the local paper. There seems to be a great problem of the posters being removed once they put up. I have currently place about 50 posters in and around the areas these dogs have been seen and the only ones still available to see are those in petrol stations and supermarkets. Perhaps The Wolf radio station could be contacted for a short slot on these two lovely dogs?Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

No more news around here, but I found a laminated poster of the dogs in the canal, so I have taken it home and copied it and put new posters up, hopefully someone will find them. Any more news of the Penn Road?Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Dogmad........... I have placed several posters around Bilston,Bushbury,Northicote Farm, East Park etc and most have been ripped down and blowing about in the wind. I actually shrunk the the poster and have been handing them to dog walkers etc. I am still currently driving up and down Bilston Road and surrounding areas looking and found a small X breed who did have a collar and tag and the elderly owner was so grateful for her return. Any new sightings of Becks or Stella?Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
