- Very big thanks to all for your support. My friends arrived home from their night shift to find Misty on her bed minus her sock bandage. They are so grateful for the support. Misty is very special to them. They left the cat flap unlocked overnight but maybe she was home all along we just don't know! Now to remove the posters!

- Am told fireworks were heard late last evening, Misty is a vocal cat, always talking, loves her food... but no sign just now.

- Thank you janiejewel. It's a mystery how Misty has vanished, a solid cottage with one entry/exit point. Have followed all your good advice. Posters/flyers. Half of Misty's body is shaved with blue stitching, covered with a secure white bandage. Vets etc being notified. Friends are baffled.

- Misty is spayed, so possibly not far away; early days yet. Put some sardines/tuna in her dish, and keep calling her. Also put something with her scent on, litter tray or blanket, and leave in the tgarden along with something with your scent on too. Place in the garden in a sheltered spot. Put "Lost" posters through doors too. Check all outbuiuldings, such as garages, sheds, greenhouses, and behind hedges. Check open vehicles too. Hope Misty is home soon.

- Misty moved to her new forever home in Melksham in the past week where following Vet advice has remained an 'indoor cat' whilst she recuperates following major surgery following a malicious attack in another town. Misty has not had a home to call her own for many years. Her black coat is faded to almost brown. Misty has a distinctive bandage around her middle, stitches in her shoulder. She is still on essential medication. Her new owners are very caring & took every step to ensure house security and can not understand how she would have got out overnight.
