- Hi all, I don't think Bailey has a Facebook page as yet.
Thanks for all the offers of help and searching. Bailey has been seen in the same areas over the past few days. The area is heavily postered and houses have been flyered. I think the area now needs to be kept quiet and people not to be tempted to search as Lesley doesn't want Bailey to be scared and move on. Everything is going as planned at the minute so can I ask everyone now to please not go actively looking for him. If needed in the future, we will post that we need ground help again. Thank you :) - 2015-07-23 15:55 HP
- Does Bailey have a facebook page? We went to Helston earlier and had a wonder around the cemetery and the path down to Penrose, No sign of him. saw lots of posters up on the main road near Sainsbury's but there not so many elsewhere.

- Have advised previous foster mum leaves Lesley item(s) of worn clothing to use as scent. Not sure if she has yet or not.
The sighting was in a similar area seen on Monday so it's fantastic he's sticking to the area. A cemetery is a perfect place for a dog to hide as it's quiet...maybe worth checking to see any signs of him sleeping there, and leave a scent article there if you think he is using this area. Another bbq toinght too?

- We would be glad to help in any way we can. We can easily come to Helston either Thursday or Friday. I have a very placid Lurcher. Don't know if she might be able to assist?

- Moogie can Baileys foster mum leave some scent items there to keep him in the area?
- 2015-07-22 20:32 Lesley England
- Some friends and I searched all morning and then Baileys foster mum came down from Dorset for the afternoon. We did have a sighting and I think he recognised her voice but by the time we got to where we'd seen him he had gone. Still staying in the same area though and am hopeful that her smell will linger at least tomorrow. Fingers crossed for tomorrow.

- If this dog is fearful it may be that he is lying low in daytime and coming out at night when no people or traffic to scare him

- This is great Lesley, that he's been spotted again and he's staying close to the houses. Lots of places for a dog to shelter in Penrose....maybe check to see if there's any signs of fur/faeces around or a place he's been sleeping. I gave a flyer to Flora Motors the other day and postered along the road behind to the chimney stack but the farm at the end needs to be done.
I would let Flora know about the sightings...they have helped us to catch a dog there before and will be able to keep a look out all day.
Flyer the houses and ask around if any of their bins have been disturbed. Heavily poster the area, writing on the posters that he's been seen there again. Let the boating lake cafe know.
Make a note on your map of sightings when and where he's been spotted. Maybe bbq there tonight??
Good luck today :) - 2015-07-22 07:04 PaulaK
- You are doing really well - good that he is being seen xx

- Spotted on the Porthleven Road coming out from Flora Motors at 1015 this evening running up the road towards roundabout. We shot out to search but no luck...difficult in the dark but at least he's still in the Penrose area.

- Have been postering and putting flyers out all around area of sighting. Have walked the local fields this afternoon and left food and water near place of last known sighting. Repeat again tomorrow.

- Have left a message asking for further update/any sightings & suggested a search if they think he won't be scared off.

- Do you think it would be a good idea to get an organised search sorted for the weekend, just in case he's not been found by then?

- Thanks Aurildisww, Hopefully Bailey can be around this evening and scavange a few meals from them

- hi Moogie. Bin day is tomorrow. Not sure what time they go around Nansloe but they are early (about 7:30) at ours

- Lesley glad you checked but agree its very unlikely as the one seen is the size of the standard so much too tall as well.
You hang in there and will keep sharing and tweeting but if you need help on the ground just yell xx
It said on the comments taken yesterday morning in Helson area but will try and tag the poster to get more detail xxLast edited: 2015-07-21 11:05:39 by Seeks - 2015-07-21 08:12 Moogie - Area Volunteer, Cornwall
- Bailey must still be closeby. Continue postering the area he was seen in and slightly further out in a circle pattern and flyer the houses asking people to keep an eye out as he may be sneeking into gardens for food.
What day is bin day? - 2015-07-21 07:43 Lesley England
- Thank you Seeks have checked out link but don't think it's Bailey. I think he is too scared to go that close to a road, a stranger or a dog. Where was the picture was taken? do you know?

- Been over to field of last sighting yesterday evening and again this morning from first light but no sign. Will go back this afternoon.

- There are lots of posters up around the area and everyone spoken to knows about Bailey which is great.
He has been sighted behind Nansloe school which backs on to the cemetery. I bumped into Lesley who has flyered the area well and will sit quietly at dusk with bbq close to where he was spotted this afternoon. Their dog, who Bailey was introduced to, is also joning in with the search and scenting the area as he goes.
Also advised to ask previous foster carers to send down contents of vacuum cleaner in post just in case this needs to be used for scenting/use of trap.
Good luck and hope Bailey is home safe and sound soon. Please keep us up to date with sightings and news :) - 2015-07-20 15:58 Max - Area Co-ordinator - Cornwall & Area Volunteer - Durham & Ireland
- I have made contact with owners. They are out postering. Everything that can be done is being done.
They have saved Baileys bed for scenting, in case any of the 'Tracker' dogs can come down. (owners have contact details). DW is aware. Bailey is a rescue dog, so not aware of his surroundings yet.
Have emailed advice sheets. - 2015-07-20 13:09 Gill
- Hi my white poodle missing is also listed on here so felt I had to post please, I know you may feel like just crying but print off posters and flyers and go back to where he went missing at the same time of day if you can, get a t shirt printed with poster on front and big pic on back. and try to stay positive. Sadly I am way too far away to offer more help but I am following and my thoughts are with you.

- I am sorry your baby is missing and hope you soon have him home again.
Get as many posters as you can up and ring the dog warden in the morning. I really hope you will soon get news and will share and tweet.
Got everything crossed he will soon be home xx
