Thank you charlie and sooty. I think if more peop[le kept their cats in at night (I am sure many people do) there would be less heartbreak, not just for the owner but for the person who has seen an injured/dead cat in the road.Last edited: 2015-07-21 22:09:31

I think it would be a good idea to put posters up, if other people haven't already done so, I think the person that witness the RTA may already have posted in area, I will try and get that way at the weekend, I live just outside London in Essex. I to have two cats and like you mine are in at night.

I found this link on Gumtree; so sad. I wish people wouild keep their cats in overnight for obvious reasons. I know it can happen anywhere but; I have two cats myself (No catflap) and they are kept in overnight. Would it be a good idea to put posters up of the collar? And the owner can then have closure:-(
