- Dogs often end up in an ajoining authority area. That is one of the many benefits of up to date microchips.
Great that she is home and her puppies were okay. - 2015-08-03 15:28 Reynard
- Great! so glad she is home xxx
"maybe one day there will be one lost and found dog register that all local authorities share and all dogs will be micro chipped :-)"
That would make sense Niki but Local authorities and even Vets (as they dont always list lost Dogs) dont seem to work for the benifit of the General Public sadly, perhaps you could start a petition ?

- hi her owner has come and collected her. she has puppies and these fortunately were old enough to cope with out her and are ok. she lives in one local authority area and ran into the adjoining local authority area so as she wasn't chipped they were phoning the local authority where they live and she was being looked after by the adjoining local authority. Always a massive risk for a lost dog that isnt chipped . But through face book and everyones help she has gone home so a massive thank you to everyone involved that made this happen. maybe one day there will be one lost and found dog register that all local authorities share and all dogs will be micro chipped :-)

It would help searchers if there were photos showing markings on each side. So many spaniels have similar head markings...Last edited: 2015-07-22 10:57:06 by CopperM
