Dotty has been caught this morning and dog warden en route as I've tried numerous times since 7am to contact owner. She's contained and not showing any visible signs of illness or injury. Will update with any progress

I've discovered an owner for the Dane, it's a bitch and she's 6 years old, called Dotty and escaped from CANVEY! She used to live in Rayleigh and in the woods hence why she feels safe in pound wood I assume. She is a very nervous dog anyway but is really close to her human mummy who has been on holiday and just returned. I spoke to Acresway kennels yesterday as the owner said they had logged with them about her missing 10 days ago but sadly I wasn't filtered this info. Dog warden did get a call last week (poss monday) from a lady who lives in bramble rd to say the dog was in her garden, dog warden approached her but she bolted into the woods. She was sighted by another resident who's garden backs onto the garden where she was sighted a few days later on the Friday, again not able to get close and she bolted back into the woods. So now that's 4 days of no sightings. I think a group search is needed, please say if your able to attend and if so what day and time you can be available

Yes owner has just called she went missing from Pound wood owner has just seen the poster...his number is 07427 701150

Sighted last week too in st michaels woods. Frightened and runs when approached
