Norfolk police have got the go ahead for a data base of missing dogs between stations-it is being developed Will let know when up and running. I saw that Norwich cITY cOUNCIL IS TAKING OVER LOST AND FOUND from districts so may be worth talking to them and advising still looking for Gem ( and Coco) Mx

The Cotswold Show is at Cirencester Park (Glos) on the 7th and 8th of July and there are many BACS gundog events on both days so lots of Springers & Cockers will be there, so could be well worth a visit.

Seen face shot and its not her, although photo is not that clear. Markings aso different on the dogs found. The search is still on for Gem and Coco.

Nicky Price has moved to 4pm now and I know all the radio Norfolk presenters and they have made several announcements for us. I could push for an interview with Nicky or Roy or Wally in my estimation-according to a lady i spoke to there they leave dog announcements up to individual presenters since it is fraught with difficulties with new laws etc-some will some won't but local coverage is not so much the issue I was hoping since we cannot be sure these dogs are in the area that you could help with contacts more nationally. I am fairly sure with reactions we get from people that our dogs are fairly well known in Norfolk and we continue to expose them in different media outlets (look east, radio orfolk, Radio Norwich, Evening News, weeklylocal area papers, ) What we asre worried about is if the dogs are outside Norfolk

well we are back after trying all the outposts-this is a rural area between 2 villages with plenty of copses and agricultural land-we have been in all 4 directions from the X roads Left leaflets at outlying farms and hamlets. Been to Bawdeswell Garden Centre and Bawdeswell Heath Went to the Model Village-thanks Lankeela-Vic 's mom boards her dogs there. The heartening thing is that many people had seen the posters in reepham and are aware. Few more have leaflets to keep now. Keep praying they are living rough and will surface soon. Possible siting on 14/4/07 about tea time of Gem inbetween Reepham and Bawdeswell looking scared and discheveled. No siting of Coco but he could have been near by. Thanks for all of the support everyone has been giving. Still no news on Gem or Coco, although still desperately searching for them. Missing them both more and more each day and it would be fantastic to have them safely home. We will NEVER stop looking for them.

We had a Norfolk meeting and produced a Norfolk Gallery of missing dogs which we are not going to give up on and reported on steps we would like to see in the future. An Inspector visited and is going to suggest future improvements for reporting between police stations in Norfolk

Following a delivery to my door by the same company-unfortunately I did not see it I went a bit balistic! Police have promised me now that the connection IS being investigated today and being treated as a prioity. Company who delivery was for have been told NOT to send the del company anywhere near my house until he has been cleared by police or otherwise

Charley's owner put more posters in North Walsham yesterday. Anyone with any contacts there please send posters or post because we have possible leads round there. Policeman attached to investigations now. He is examining delivery company links Please remain vigilant everywhere until this link is proved or otherwise or of course dogs are safely home. I continue to alert more and more organisations and negotiate with police and delivery firm in question. I did hear the radio interview and it was very good. Do not know who it may have been unles Mandy? Not contacted me-but then my number not featured. Took los of posters and hand outs to Norwich today and quite a few people saw on Look east last night-all but one very keen to help (always one eh?) That included my solicitor-that is who we had appt with-just routine stuff not about to be locked up ye-I hope. got a reply from Chief Constables pa too. An inspector investigating now!!

Someone rang immediately after I was on air with their missing dog and I asked them to ring the station immediately as she may be able to get it on air and then to ring us back-unfortunately the line was kept busy nearly all evening-do you have a contact number for her?

I have written another letter to the Chief constable and e mailed following the comment on Look east last night. I have mailed e mail to Vicky, Mandy and Jayne. It s a little more hard hitting! I am quite busy in my own life today so unable to do much more other than hand out leaflets and posters as I attend my appts in Norwich and whereever else I pass!! Please take up the gauntlet today all you helpers out there. Time is so important.

I have posted out the '3 dog poster and hand out size leaflet' to most of my address book or contacts since I have had an e mail address! That includes all the organisations I e mailed re Judy when she was stolen and friends/acquaitances or just organisations I have contacted in the past across the UK though obviously many are local across Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambs etc but also sent to London, Wales, Devon, Midlands, etc However I bet you got a few contacts in your address book??? Get these posters mailed out to anyone and everyone PLEASE. Norfolk most urgent but IF stolen could conceivably be anywhere. TOO HOT TO HANDLE is byword

I've just viewed the output from earlier (www.bbc.co.uk/lookeast/ and click on latest edition) and it was really excellant. "Police are not making any connections" is press office speak for "you don't really think anyone has actually looked into this do you, and I'm certainly not going to waste time getting a statement for you." well done Vicky Wached on Look east this evening Great publicity. Police comment-we are not at the moment connecting these cases?? I want to scream! Never say as much as we would wish but great publicity and warning for other owners too. Fingers crissed it will bring results. Spoke to Mrs Star today and her case is not going to court desoite the fact that the dog thief gave himself up in the end after the dogs got to hot to handle but the police decided NNOT to take him to court. What do we have to do? Scream and scream and scream I think keep on girls and boys!!

Vicky asked me to listen to Rokker radio since she could not get a signal. I did this and contacted them Unfortunately yesterdays programme was an outside broadcast but the man on the phone promised he would mention to the producer and maybe get on next week-meantime perhaps the message may get through locally anyway via the producer being informed? We live in hope. I have today sent the letter to the Chief constable of Norfolk and copied to Jayne and Vicky. I have also copied it to the EDP reporter hopefully doing the story I will chase up the delivery van enquiries today. Lets keep this 'hot' I have seen posters locally put up by people from the quiz night!

Spoke to my local village police man this a.m who agrees need to write to Chief Constable re police policy re missing dogs info etc but aware of dogs being stolen and was going to look upref given by PC at Wymondham head office of Police in Norfolk yesterday re de van. We all need to make sure police DO follow up re van info They eed pushing!

Went to quiz evening in village last night where lots of local people from various surrounding villages etc Made an announcement i the interval over the mic re dogs being stolen and gave out posters of Gem, Coco and Holly. People very interested and passing the word. over 100 people there M x

Good News for a change but will be better still when Gem home-police now taken on board my stolen in Norfolk theory and are investigating or so was promised. Reporter rang from EDP and is a dog lover and will do what she can-got photos and details of Coco and Holly from Tasburgh also plus mentioned others from archives from Wroxham and Sprowston AND asked her to contact owners and maybe Jayne and dogs lost too. Lets make them too hot to handle. No publicity is bad publicity

Posters need to be put up in the area on lamposts, entrances to parks, vets, petshops, ask postie, milkmen, binmen (even put poster on bins), schools, deliver to houses etc. Handout smaller posters to people, especially dog walkers. Put A4 poster in car windows. RSPCA and rescue centres need checking regularly and preferably visited in person, by owner or someone who knows Gem. xx
