Would setting a trap in the dense woodland where she was seen help with the scent of the owner inside, and some food?

I've sent info/advice over to Claire (owner) and also Scenting Instructions. Posters are the key to getting most important sightings to allow people POPPY knows to the area. The gentle approach is required and shouting her name may well scare her off. As long as she is in a good area away from traffic she is safe. Landowner must be informed and permission given to go on the land. Rooting for POPPY to be back home soon and she is o.k.

Have seen the comment below being share on fb which is very worrying. Whoever is shouting her name may frighten her more. She may not even respond to Claire (owner) or anyone else POPPY knows. If she is in a safe area and landowner knows best only limited people she knows visit the area. x

CROSS POSTED:

A group of farm-workers spotted Poppy running into dense woodland on the edge of farmers field at rear of Poppys home. We searched all along this area late last night, but obviously despite us having torches with us it was very difficult seeing beyond the borders, though we did manage to find what we believe to be Dogs paw-prints in the very soft and virtually untouched soil. We were yelling her name for a couple of hours but frustratingly this yielded no response from her..... x

As Poppy has been hit by a car, she is most likely hiding behind a hedge or something as sge will be scared. Put something with her scent on in the garden, as this may tempt her back.

Have registered POPPY on behalf of her owner who has been out searching for her.

There has been lots of shares already for POPPY and people have been out helping in the search for her. Have done a fb share and will share her details. Will also email info/advice and SCENTING INSTRUCTIONS to owner.

POPPY will be hiding up and may come out when it quiet and there is no-one about.

Rooting for POPPY to be found soon.

THANK YOU to everyone is helping.
