Amya
We are so happy to have our little trouble maker back. We rescued her 3 months ago having been found in very poor condition. She has been house trained, learnt to sit, paw, beg and her new name. She spends her nights snuggled in our bed (bad mummy habits) so we were absolutely devastated our little madam was stuck somewhere and we couldn't help her.
It was truly miraculous we found her. We had walked the South Downs where she had been lost for 30 hours straight. We were just doing our last look before having a rest when our black lab Charlie took more interest in one of the active badger dens. When you put your head in we could just hear faint cries although we still couldn't be sure that's where they were coming from. Thankfully she could follow our calls and half an hour later dug herself through into the tunnel I was calling down. We dug her out the rest of the way.

She's a bit of a celebrity down out village now and she's been fussed and cuddled by so many people (we took her on a "walk of shame" to spread the word of her return)
I'm concerned she think she's been very clever and will now expect celebrity status at all times!!
On the lead outside of parks for the foreseeable future.
Thank you all for your kind wishes. It's times like this you realise just how much goodness is around you in the world xxx

Awww, so pleased that they were able to get Lola out of the hole. She was clever to let her owners know where she was.

Fantastic news, Lola has been found!!! She was down a hole in a badger sett. An hour ago I was on the phone with her owner listening to Lola barking away scared in the badger hole and now I have just been sent a pic of one very happy owner holding Lola :) Will leave for Amy to update when things have calmed down a bit! xxLast edited: 2015-07-31 22:36:36 by Ravenette - Area Co-ordinator - West Sussex
