Very similar dog found in Bristol. Very timid and been hanging around Horseworld for a week. Quite far away but Cindy has been missing for some time so thought I'd comment just incase. Photo on lost and founs pets Bristol Facebook page. Dog hasbeen taken in by Bath Cats and Dogs Home so contact them to double check. I was at the agility comp at Dowtys when Cindy went missing and never forgotten her.

Any updates on Cindy yet? Is she still in the airport area?

We have setup a monitored feeding station, only a cat visiting so far, come on Cindy, where are you???
Elizabeth L - W
Units visited yesterday to update firms where she was spotted crossing into . Jenners and Sue B 's work complementing each vital area of search work. How hungry and scared she must be , poor girl, such a long time now. Not street savvy, as was reared in a shelter. It will be a day of rejoicing when she is finally safe again.
Unknown
Keep at it Jenners and work your charms , good luck x
Mollychops
Jenners you are doing such an incredible job! A right madam indeed. How frustrating but as its been proven so many times, the softly softly approach works.
zen
well done jenners, hope she is caught and safe soon

Little madam just wandering around the airfield tonight, calm as you like, at least it's not raining, and there are rabbits for her to play with.Last edited: 2015-08-27 22:59:46 by Jenners - Area Volunteer, Gloucestershire

Thanks Jenners, yes the numbers must be called. This poor girl needs catching soon, Its getting so cold now at nights and with the rain, it must be so miserable for her, thanks for all you are doing X
DogLostJenners - Area Volunteer, Gloucestershire
Apparently there was a sighting last night at 20.40 in Herrick Way but they waited 3 hrs and then posted on FB rather than ring the numbers on the poster :( Please if there is a sighting, ring the numbers ASAP this girl needs to be caught soon.
Unknown
Well done Jenners for your patience , I do hope you get a good result soon xx

She was sighted on a busy industrial site, no where for a caravan, plus she ran away from the caravan, and frantically tries to escape when she sees people. waitung for her to get brave or trapping her is likely to be the way to catch her. She obviously has good survivor instincts.
Unknown
aw hope you catch her soon would it be possible to have someone stay in the caravan with the door open for her to go inside?
DogLostJenners - Area Volunteer, Gloucestershire
Trap set at site where she has recently been sighted, being a Sunday it is all locked up so am just outside the gate, that she could easily get under. Will speak with business owner in the morning to try and get better access tomorrow
Elizabeth L - W
Another sighting Friday night at same spot. Owners caravan being left nearby while owners have to return for work. They are hoping to get permission to park their caravan at the back of the yard where feeding station has now been established by the helpful staff.
Mollychops
Ive tried getting hold of Tiga Jenny but she has been away

The Airport Staff are aware, posters up at the two pubs on site. The airport security have been very helpful and a tour of the key areas of perimeter fence requested by Jenners was given . No signs of a black and purple harness hanging or caught. Plenty of holes and fence gaps where she can come and go if ever on the airfield. More poster help needed and also Jenners idea of handing out A5 size to dog walkers etc.

We are going to organise a search for Cindy as there have been no sightings since Tuesday, I have done a google map splitting it into 7 areas to search, on FaceBook there is an event where people have been offering to help, if you are on there the link to the event is https://www.facebook.com/events/1609539786001247/ You can go and say when are where you can search.

Here is the link to the map https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=zlKFboquA6dg.kM_etwJCTSFY&usp=sharing

I have spoken to Gloucestershire Airport, they are going to ring me tomorrow when someone is available to escort me around the site to check buildings and hedges, just incase she has ventured on to there.

It is a worry there have been no sightings, hopefully she has found a good hiding place and water source, in which case a search my flush her out. If you can help please get in touch either on here, on FB or by phone, thank you x
Elizabeth L - W
Jenners of little sleep thank you ! Yes Cindy please help. On the' Help find Cindy' event page on FB the Croatian shelter lady has recorded a call sign for her so if in a 3 g area this could draw her out when she is starving and ready to give up hopefully. Have a listen, it is very distinct.
DogLostJenners - Area Volunteer, Gloucestershire
No signs overnight from where she'd been camping and I think the rest off the camp are leaving today :( We really need sightings now, she may become more active now through hunger, it is quite normal for them to go to ground for a couple of days through fear, so everyone please be vigilant. Come on Cindy, show yourself xx
Mollychops
Fantastic work Elizabeth ! Thanks very much . Wonderful Jenners out there now watching the area . Come on Cindy we need another sighting !!
DogLostJenners - Area Volunteer, Gloucestershire
Well done Elizabeth :) just printing more off in A5 size to give out, here's hoping she feels hungry tonight x

The agility show finishes today so it will be quieter in the area Cindy spent 9 days, if she is in the area she may be staying close as it's a scent she'll recognise. I'll stay there overnight and set food stations that I can keep an eye on from the van so as not to scare her. Lots of workers are out walking in their lunch hour, all the ones I have spoken to are aware, and the Dowtys groundsman is back from holiday tomorrow so he'll be in the grounds daily.
Elizabeth L - W
Phone numbers now changed , if printing posters please refer to the current poster here thank You.

Thanks Ollies Mum. I had a lovely message last night from Cindy's owner thanking everyone for their very kind help here. Its very difficult for them logistically and for other commitments for them to be able to get up here as often as they would like. To quote them

'we are having to rely on the kindness of strangers and we are so grateful for that and any effort that anyone can make, no matter how big or small'
Ollie's Mum
I have already put up posters at the tills where I work. I will ask my daughter if she can display a couple at the pub she works in as it is a very busy local pub. Fingers crossed Cindy shows herself today and you can narrow down the exact area she is in.

Many thanks, I think Jenners and the rescue will agree , keep on sharing and put up posters and if easier for you also hand people slips with the vital info and show them the photo, ask them to copy
the poster onto their phone . The main road needs posters and the companies along there . near Range Rover etc.

I am available tomorrow all day if you need any help. It's quite a large area she could travel either way. If she travels Tewkesbury Road way there are many fields she can hide in.Last edited: 2015-08-05 15:20:18 by Ollie's Mum

Glad there's been a sighting - fingers crossed for tonight Jenners x
Mollychops
Huge thanks Jenners for your wonderful help. Thanks too Elizabeth for helping poster the area. I will see if owners can get some printed for when they come back later
DogLostJenners - Area Volunteer, Gloucestershire
No sign overnight, trap not touched. By the reaction of owners other dogs and the positive sighting last night, Cindy is in the area between airport and Dowty sports and social club, so postering that area is important, locals are helpful here as they were with Primmy, she is still out here somewhere too. I met up with Jenny (Cindy's owner) who had spent the night camping at Dowtys, no signs there, but there is still agility things going on and people around and that is what Cindy has been used to for 9 days prior to going missing. I will set traps again tonight where permitted. Come on Cindy, show yourself xLast edited: 2015-08-05 06:06:18 by Jenners - Area Volunteer, Gloucestershire

More help needed to poster and give the info to dog walkers , some posters went up today, this has brought results, more needed. Jenners is co- ordinating as below comments. Thanks.Last edited: 2015-08-05 00:35:13 by Elizabeth L - W

I have spoken to someone who saw Cindy earlier, so know roughly where she was seen. We have permission to set a trap, it will have to be removed by morning but can set again tomorrow night. She was terrified and ran as soon as she saw him, so best not to go searching on mass, but keep a look out if you are in the area.Last edited: 2015-08-04 23:15:44 by Jenners - Area Volunteer, Gloucestershire

Owners are there now. she looks to be in an area that's been fenced off hopefully securely

Ollie's Mum
Drove slowly around the lane lunchtime. She could cross the fields and go out onto the Tewkesbury Road. Has anyone contacted The hotel.?Impossible to see into the fields as very overgrown.
Not available tomorrow but could help with a search on Thursday.
Jot cotswolds
Have the owners alerted the golf course opposite and leafleted golfers? Also the area is right by Staverton airport. Also worth alertring the 3 car dealerships right by her area where she was lost: Stratstone Landrover, Mercedes Benz and Jeep. She is lost VERY near the M5 so a search party is needed quickly?Last edited: 2015-08-04 16:22:04 by Jot cotswolds

Cindy had only been with her new owners a couple of weeks when she bolted out of their caravan at an event in Hatherley. They have had to go home, but are in touch with the dog warden and local vets. Please could local helpers do some postering as owners are not able to . Im emailing my advice sheets and will put a breed on her page. If she is approached she will be very timid, so please do not approach, but call the poster numbers.
Mollychops
I will contact her owner
