Billy is the brother of Oscar, who was stolen some time later. The owner continues to look but there is no news on either of these dogs. PR has been doneLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Posted at MSN ToyDogs UK Group online , London Chihuahua Meetup , Local Vets Petcare Northumberland Heath advised by phone (will print poster off for us and post in surgery) - elderly owner has contacted Henneys Woolwich, the surgery over at Thamesmead Town centre (not sure of name) I spoke with the BCSP (Bexley Community Safety Partnership) today re some info on an address possibly breeding "11 breeds of dog" on the Bexley side of Thamesmead...Police are looking into it (not necessarily connected to these thefts) NB: If anyone else has any Toy dogs or cross toys stolen/lost in the London/Kent/Essex (home counties) areas or anywhere else in the UK then please send me the details and I will gladly advertise them FREE on www.RubyScrumptious.com Thanks Michelle (Rubysmom) PS I am in touch with the owner so if anyone has info and cannot get hold of the number on the poster (a friend of theirs) then feel free to contact me Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I've contacted the Safer Neighbourhood Police teams for Bexley & Greenwich Boroughs (as on border) - I am waiting for the Counsellor Jackie Smith to ring me back and have also sent the details to TGRsounds local radio + arranging for it to go on TIME FM 106.8 etc - the Bexley Times will be running a piece on it but the local Newsshopper would NOT cover the story unless I agreed to have the owner's name and address in it!! needless to say I told them that pointing out where they lived so someone could steal the rest of their dogs was the dumbest thing I had ever heard (before hanging up!).....I have also sent Billy's details out to all my site's members and made a page to it at www.RubyScrumptious.com/billy Oh and I rang the PDSA Animal Hospital last night as they are the nearest vets to where Billy was taken... ALSO gave his owner the details of the dog on the reunited page on 15th as description possibly matches Oscar their dog who was stolen 5mths ago....Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Posters need to be put up in the area a.s.a.p. lamposts, entrances to parks, vets, petshops, schools, deliver to houses etc. Ask postie, milkmen and binmen to lookout. Handout smaller posters to people, especially dog walkers. Put A4 poster in car windows. RSPCA and rescue centres need checking regularly and preferably visited in person, by owner or someone who knows Billy. Great that he is chipped. Jan xxx Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
