Just been listening to Lizzie's tale on Radio Derby. Lovely story and good to hear it first hand from the finder and the owner :)

I was hoping for an update on this dog who has now been missing for over two weeks. Has anyone heard anything?
Jaycey
A Lurcher by me went missing in May..She was seen several times in various areas and was making her way home..Which she eventually did after 9 days on the run, so hopefully Lizzy will be reunited very soon x
Esther
Fingers crossed here

Good to have a sighting. Yes rottie that is certainly the right advice.
Ellie
Bumping Lizzies page due to possible sighting.
rottie
likely sighting a few days ago at the cricket square on ashbourne recreation ground,on facebook, she looked as it she wanted to approach the chap who saw her but then panicked, adviced on facebook if sighted to keep low to the ground without any direct eye contact and to throw any small amounts of food away from you to try to get confidence, ring owner immediatly, hopefully this is the right advice, come on lizzie ! no sightings since possible sighting at osmaston crossroads, please keep sharing this x
Hudson
Hi, thanks for the help everyone. Lizzie is a long haired lurcher, similar to a greyhound in build. We have tried the number kindly given by Murphy and continue the search.

Esther
If it was Lizzie at Osmaston she is still some way north of us, but I will keep a look out as she could be headed our way

Lizzies owner is new to DogLost and not sure how to reply to posts
She thanks Rottie for her kind offer of help
Lizzie is walked on the airfield most days so is in familiar surroundings. Home is less than a mile away from the airfield on top of the hill, so she was walked there and not taken by car.
Ellie
Bumping Lizzies page due to a possible sighting yesterday at the Osmaston Crossroads
rottie
is Lizzie far from home on the airfield, is she walked there or does the owner take her there by car, just wondered if may try to make her way home?
Ellie
Lizzie went missing from the airfield on Ashbourne Industrial Estate, it's possible she could have headed either towards Bradley Wood or Yeldersley
She is a very timid rescue dog and will not approach people so anyone who sees her do not chase, keep her in sight and ring owners please

I have circulated Lizzie to petsearchers and other contacts. Also put her on our website www.petsearchers.org Is the photograph here an actual photograph of Lizzie please?
rottie
If need to can put some posters up tomorrow after work if not back by then, think she was lost on the industrial estate at the top of derby hill, I assume on the runways as lots of dogs walked there. That then backs onto Bradley wood. Come on lizzie lets have sighting of you, lots of rabbits for her around xLast edited: 2015-08-05 19:43:00 by rottie
