- Why oh why isn't he micro chipped, If you cannot afford it the Dogs Trust are offering a free micro chipping service as are some vets and other companies. As I have two Springers myself I know how far they can range out when they catch a scent or see a deer so I am always really happy when Springers are found after wandering off. Thankfully you were lucky this time.

- If this is not normal behaviour for Monty (running off) is there any preceived dangers in the area such as Railway lines , Deep water, Wells etc, Farmers? Were there any cars/vans in the area at the time ? Poster poster poster to get him noticed as suspect someone has seen him and may not be aware he is missing
Good luck! - 2015-08-06 07:57 Unknown

- as he isnt chipped you will have to get hold of the Dog Wardens and all local vets to see if he has been handed in .also contact the local rehoming centres and Police to see if anyone has reported him found( though while they dont deal with dogs anymore some do keep a log ) was he far from home when he went missing? Do hope hes home soon xxx
