Are there any helpers around chortlon-Cum-Hardy or Whalley Range who can keep an eye open around the Alexandra Park area? Put up posters etc. There is a slight possibility that Bobby was in this area three weeks ago.

Everyone will soon be seeing mikkas title changing from "Mikka Pet Detective Award" to Area Co-ordinator Wales.I feel very privileged to have jenni on my team, I know she is not based in Wales, but she has kindly agreed to help me, and I?m sure we will be getting a lot more of the welsh dogs back home, with jenni on board!!!! Do you have an area in Sadleworth-it covers a vast area. If we knew a smaller area I could pop into pubs in that area and ask around if anyone knows of her.

does anyone know of a lady called marg in the saddleworth area? we now believe that the dog was given to this lady in a pub because the man knew she would look after him. But we are now being told that she has since past my dog on to someone else please help anyone who knows a marg in this area please ask if she has recieved a dog and past it on. its the only lead i've got to get my dog back. thanks.xxx

Spoken to several Rescue centers in the area and they have not had any collies taken in. Spoken to : Millstream/RSPCA/and left message with Thameside and Glossop Sanctuary.

If any helpers live near the Manchester or Cheshire dogs home perhaps you could occasionally take a look at the dogs there, you never know. Manchester Dogs Home,Crofter?s House, Moss Brook Road, Harpurhey, Manchester M9 5PG. Cheshire Dogs home, 225 Knutsford Road, Grappenhall, Warrington WA4 3JZ. Don't bother ringing, you have to visit. The staff will NOT look for a dog for you. I visited Manchester Dogs home last week, they keep dogs for seven days before selling them so need to arrange someone to visit at least every 5 or 6 days so not to miss any dogs taken there and sold. Can you email me if you can go otherwise I will need to go.

Yes the found dog has no spots on nose or front legs. The tradition white markings on the face are not the same shape either. The found dog is not as slender looking as Bobby and is carrying puppy fat. I would put the found dog at under 1 year old but is impossible to be certain. But yes, on first glance both dogs look the same.

Sorry Babs, i thought you were Bobbys owner, until i spoke to her today, thats why i was confused about leaving you a message, of course it wasnt you it was bobbys owner i left the message for. Bobbys owner is still not convinced that the dog found in oldham is not bobby, i have compared the photos side by side, and there are a lot of similarities, have you checked for the spots on the nose and legs, on the found dog.

The Border collie rescue is in Ramsbottom, but the lady has contacts in the Olham area and newspaper, ill get her number for you, ive just tried to ring you, perhaps youd give me a call when you come in thanks kathy

The Border Collie on the found page is very similar but it's not Bobby. I took the photograph this morning I had gone to look at the dog thinking it would be Bobby.

Ceredigion dog warden is just going to Borth pound, and will then ring bobbys owner with a description of the dog at borth, you never know!!!

Have spoken to Border Collie Rescue in Ramsbottom and emailed Bobbys poster to her, she is going to circulate in Oldham and Rochdale Area. She will also arrange for something to go in the Oldham Chronicle, so have asked the owner to ring her to arrange a news item. Good luck on Monday!!!!!!!!!

Loads of local helpers have rung in to offer assistance-they have all been given the relative info. Keelah our Welsh PR person is on the case with local papers-we will get Bobby back!

Posters need to be put up in the area a.s.a.p. lamposts, entrances to parks, vets, petshops, schools, deliver to houses etc. Ask postie, milkmen and binmen to lookout. Handout smaller posters to people, especially dog walkers. Put A4 poster in car windows. rescue centres need checking regularly and preferably visited in person, by owner or someone who knows Bobby. I will print off some posters. I don't visit that area but two of my vets live there and some other people I know. I will put a poster in my car and then people in the supermarket car park will see it. And put up posters in the places I walk my dogs. I will fax through the posters, better in black-and-white than not at all, to my vets and other vets - it's faster than trying to dash around with them. I Jean
