Have just seen one suggestion which I feel is very good and really worthdoing and that is to print up some small leafletts and hand them out to the postmen. Postmen , (and I'm not being horrible, I think it's good for the neighbourhood) dont miss very much, and would normally know if there was a new dog on the block. Also put poster up at the sorting office. When we were searching for a dog in my area, the owner went to the sorting office and the bin men depot at about 5.00am in the morning and gave each and every postman and bin crew a small poster. By going at this time they managed to target every area as the men left the depots. They did get their dog back. Hope this helps. x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Yasa, you're absolutely right. Poppy's owners need to make sure the posters are still up. People often take them down or assume that Poppy will have been found if you don't remind them.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Jenny and family, I havn't stopped working on Poppy behind the scenes, but today I want you to look at another Poppy who was stolen from outside a shop. A little Yorkie called POPPY, now in the blue pages, and back safely home. Posters did it again, and I'm so pleased they never gave up. Just working for the day you get the same result. xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Having lost our two wee dogs we have now just had one of our cats pass away too - the kids are devastated. Please if anyone know the wherabouts of either Poppy or Sasha please do try and help us find them. Poppy is a fine border although her coat is quite shaggy at the moment, she has black ears and is very friendly. Jenny CookeLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Just a suggestion, but this is the second dog missing in this area. Perhaps the owner of Poppy could contact Gizmo's owner (reg 8/3/07) and they could poster for each other, and swap ideas. The two areas are very close and dogs are similar size. I hope Poppy is found very soon. xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

As soon as picture is put on site and posters are emailed to helpers they need to be put up in the area a.s.a.p. lamposts, entrances to parks, vets, dog training clubs, petshops, schools, deliver to houses etc. Ask postie, milkmen and binmen to lookout. Handout smaller posters to people, especially dog walkers. Put A4 poster in car windows. rescue centres need checking regularly and preferably visited in person, by owner or someone who knows Poppy and Sasha. Jan xxx Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
