- I've just emailed a picture of Sorcha on her way home in a car. Her owner headed out at 1100 today with a lady called Paula and found her. She's fine.

- Sorryh to see this about cat, and owner. I woiuld imagine that the cat is still up the tree, as it will be soi scared. sadly i am too far away to help. Perhaps neighbous couild take a look around. If your son (Clarkey) can remember the area or even the tree the cat went up, perhaps the rspca could help? O even if someone neayby who is used to climbing , and perhaps could help if they have a long ladder. This happened not far from where I live. THIS CAT WAS RESCUED THROUGH A RADIO APPEAL Hope owner is feeling better, and sending healing vibes/. Paws xd.Last edited: 2015-08-10 13:05:26

- Lots of Fbk posts about this poor owner and her cat.
Comment on Breaking News Somerset and Beyond from "Amanda Bradley: My son saw the cat as it escaped and said it ran up a tree, long shot but may just stay hidden up there if frightened"

- Quote from owner
"Medium Deby Ould
Ok I hve some bad news & I'm doing a shout out for help. I've been in a major car accident today on the M5 near Taunton. Someone broadsided my car which then turned over several times. Thank God I'm alright just in shock, with several bruises & some small lacerations. Mishka & Sive are in the hands of an animal rescue place somewhere nearby but my problem is that Sorcha my white Siamese ran off into the fields next to the motorway. Can people get help finding her? I am a bit shook up so could do with help here. I'm at Taunton hospital & have my mobile. The car is a write off of course & the caravan is not good either. I'd appreciate the help, thank you!"
