Owner had left me a message at bdch saying he didn't make it but i didn't want to post anything on here as not 100% and i did not speak to her, did send her an email but never heard back which is fine i didn't expect them to contact me again. My conclusion was that Toby did go to rainbow bridge sadly.

I guess he didn't get home safely as he was found by Thames Water in Sunbury which is where the aqueduct ends. the aqueduct supplies water to their works in Sunbury, and has sluice gates and other hazrds on it. Shame people don't read the thread before posting things like 'Happy Days'

Did he make it home safely or was it sad news?

Thank you so much everyone for all your help.
He went missing out the back end of our garden which leads into the Thames water aqueduct that runs all the way through to Sunbury cross. Someone has check the aqueduct and he has not shown up there thank goodness. We assume that he must have managed to get through some railings further along and managed to become disorientated. It is very unlike him to run off but we think he was chasing something. It happened at about 10pm last night so I am hoping that someone somewhere has him and will get him to a vets or a dogs home so that he can be reunited with us. Thank you again for all the help everyone. He is so very special to us and we are in agony without him.
