- Norfolk police have got the go ahead for a data base of missing dogs between stations-it is being developed Will let know when up and running. I saw that Norwich cITY cOUNCIL IS TAKING OVER LOST AND FOUND from districts so may be worth talking to them and advising still looking for Gem ( and Coco) Mx Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- its charleys mum here, have done much lately havent been well, but have got beautiful daughter called poppy, who is now a month old. i have had two hoax phone calls saying they had her, and one chap said he would ring back, as i was then going into hospital that minute when he rang, dog sounded exactly like charley, said he bought her from travellers would not give me his name or wheresbouts. he promesed to ring us back and that was a month ago! yesterday girl rang me , said she thought she had her , again bought her from a traveller in the city centre, she gave me her address and mobile phone number and my husband went round there no answer at door, i then rang her mob duff number does not exist. how could people be cruel. i have rung police and advised them i got bt to trace first call, and that they need to ring bt to get number, they still have not. the police are useless. i am still not giving up though. speak to you soon and thanks for all your lovely messages. mandy x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Just to let you know Mandy and Peter have had a beautiful little girl, Poopy, and are still actively seeking Charley. Meantime they have offered a home to another rescue dog that they saw whilst looking for Charley BUT this is an addition NOT a replacement and Charley is still their quest. Mandy has had many sleepless nights with the worry and has not had an easy time since the birth so PLEASE stay vigilant to find Charley and give the family some peace of mind. - Yes tori, I agree, what a gorgeous face but, then again, I just might be a little bit biased! I do hope that this beautiful young Rottie girl is found very soon as they need to be with people who understand and appreciate the breed. I'm too far away in Kent to help but suggest you get some business card-sized photos of Rotti printed on A4 paper via a local printers or photographic shop (you get quite a few to a page) and write your contact details on the reverse. Hand them out to EVERYONE you come across. That way if someone spots your girl when they are out and about, they will have Rotti's details to hand rather than have to go back to a poster. Make sure you visit all local pubs and ask them to display a poster. Also speak to the 'regulars' as they will have lots of local knowledge and contacts. Good Luck!!! Come home very soon sweetheart!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Another missing believed stolen dog in Norfolk. Chief Constable informed re bad communication etc between stations. Vicky owner of Gem and Coco on Look East tonight about the stolen dogs. Well done Vicky Van identified in lane firm which Judy was stolen on 20th feb and company and police investigating. At least police do appear to be taking more interest now. Radio Norfolk and EDP reporter well briefed. Son of poor helper at Hopton jogging round a travellers site in rain and posting!! Rokker radio contacted and asked for help from travellers. We are really trying so hard here! Lets make these dogs too hot to handle. oh and my mistake Rotti went missing on thursday 15th not saturday-sorry for that -just so much going on and at such a speed Off for rest now! - What a heart melting gorgeous face this Rottie girl has! Terrible that she was stolen from what should be the safety of her own garden. Always just a little bit more concerned when a Rottie or Dobie is missing, as these wonderful, naturally gentle breeds need to be in safe and responsible hands. Poster as widely as possible, including local obedience/flyball/agility clubs. Local pubs and sorting office. Also put mini posters through letter boxes and ask your local postman if she/he will help. Her family can take comfort from the knowledge that they have done all the right things to give her the best chance of coming safely home again. Fingers cross its very soonxxxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Posters need to be put up in the area a.s.a.p. lamposts, entrances to parks, vets, dog training clubs, petshops, schools, deliver to houses etc. Ask postie, milkmen and binmen to lookout. Handout smaller posters to people, especially dog walkers. Put A4 poster in car windows. rescue centres need checking regularly and preferably visited in person, by owner or someone who knows Rottie. Great that she is chipped. Jan xxx Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
