- This is outrageous, an organisation like the RSPCA that is suppose to be there for animals!!! RIP sweet Millie and run free at the bridge, My thoughts and prayers are with Margaret xx

- Run free now beautiful girl Millie. My thoughts are with your family x

- So sad for Millie and her owner.Run free Millie.
We have to ask why( considering that Millie was chipped ) wasn't Margaret contacted ?????? I wonder if micro chipping is worth doing if it's going to be ignored by rescue groups..... especially the R.S.P.C.A.
By law we will soon be expected to have our dogs chipped ...I hope by then more rigorous use of the scan chip detector will be employed by Dog Wardens and rescues. - 2015-08-24 14:30 Skywalker99
- Not the first time the RSPCA have failed to do this......

- Rest in peace beautiful Millie, my thoughts are with Margaret x This should never have happened, a law is coming in soon for us dog owners to make sure our dogs are chipped but if our dogs become lost and are found but not checked for a chip what good is that! There is a petition about this which I have signed as hoping this very sad story doesn't keep happening.

- I'm so very sorry to hear such sad news about Millie. Such a beautiful Staffie girl. I just cannot understand how this type of thing keeps happening. Just so awful. My thoughts are very much with Margaret at this sad time. But rest assured, we lost our own precious Rottie girl, Milly (hence my DL call name) very suddenly to cancer, just a few weeks ago and so she will be waiting for her namesake Millie at Rainbow Bridge to take her on her onward journey. Until we all meet up again with our past furry companions...

- Should have been checked for a chip at the outset, and owner could have been able to make a decision on dear Millie's future - just isn't good enough. Shame on you, RSPCA. Thoughts are with Margaret xxx

- I feel it is Margarets place to give full details if she wishes, but through her devotion and determination to find Millie..We discovered the RSPCA had taken her off someone and had her for re homing. .She had Spondylosis of the spine which had got a lot worse, so after several weeks of being seen by their vet it was decided to send her to the Rainbow Bridge.. The most heartbreaking thing of all is that Millies microchip was still registered to Margaret, yet she or her vet were never called to say Millie had been recovered! So sad :-( xx

- Have had a message on twitter that Millie has gone to Rainbow Bridge.

- Millie has a very noticable scar on her lower back and this would make her very recognisable..She could have been stolen, given away or sold on by fosterer who has vanished! ..So could be anywhere..Please keep sharing this beautiful girl and let's make sure she's getting the love she so deserves..xx
