no im sorry but that is not missy because missy had loads of tiny black spots on her ears at around the edges and in her tummy also it doesnt look at all like her but thnak you very much for trying to help really appreciate it

There is a similar looking dog to Missy in Jasmil , it has been in before as a stray , maybe worth enquiring, It is not the white staff they have there which is called Missy ,coincidence, she is being pts this week, sadly but the small young one , they know owner, this one has spots, Maybe a drive down to Sittingbourne Kent to take a crafty look??? dodgy owner!!! has dumped dogs before.. has your Missy got any thing that could identify her, I could take a look when next in if she is still there. PM me if you have any questions but kennels might not give you any info so might be better to visit .. not too far down the motorway Chrisx

i would like to take time to thank every one for helping me and my sister. unfortunatly we have had a few frights with her being stable but now i can comfirm she is better still in care but better. i would also like to say that we have moved houses we now like in white heart lane not tottenham. can anyone let me know how i can get missy in the papers and and find her i dont know if im asking for too much but can people help me put up posters i work full time and come home late to spend time with my sister so please i beg everyone out there for help. Just to confirm I emailed 75 vets yesterday, asking them to forward poster to all of their other branches and to display it both in staff rooms and client waiting areas. Hopefully with their other branches included, this will have covered in the region of 100 vets, or probably more. Be lucky Missy, we just need that one pair of eyes to spot you x

Poster local dog training/flyball and agility clubs. A Staffie I have know ever since she was a pup loves flyball and agility. Also try and get Missy in the local paper with a photo if possible. Go to local companion dog shows if you have any close by. Carry credit card size posters on Missy with a photo on one side and contact number on the back. It only takes one right person after all...The hotter she is the better. Hope Missy is safely home soonxxx

Miguel, I am so sorry your sister is not well. I have never been in a position where my boxer has gone missing but I can imagine what she must be going through. This is a fantastic site , with fantastic people and I am certain they will and are doing everything they can to help reunite Missy and will continue doing so. thanks ninja's no im not 100% sure it was the contractors that took my baby but she went missing when they left although there migght be a small chance that missy is still sround the area so i will follow your advise and i will put some posters up as soon as i can and thanks fro offering to help will keep it in mind. i hope i get my baby back soon i miss her so much that i have been given antidepresents to take once a day.

Hi M! R U sure the worker took her? She cannot have run out when he left? Cuz then she might still b in the area as many PPL around here keep a dog if they find 1. Maybe U should try 2 do some posters again with a big pic of Missy where U write in big letters that there's a reward 4 bringing her home or 4 INFO leading to her safe return. There R not that many white staffs around here and she's easy recognizable so if those that have her C the posters they'll get scared that others'll snitch, which PPL will do for easy money, and if she's been sold on they can double their money by telling U where she is. Hang them in the streets in ur area & at the bus stops, around council blocks, schools & parks & by the job centre but b prepared 4 lots of dodgy calls as well :/ & give them 2 staff & pitt owners in the streets. I get stopped all the time by PPL that wanna use my dog 4 breeding & if they wanna try 2 breed her at some point they'll probably find a male that way. If UR certain that the worker took her, then concentrate on that as U do now. I didn't understand, is it the housing ass. or the contractor that U can't get hold of? If its the housing U can go there in person and if its the contractor leave a voice mail saying that U need work done then they'll probably get back to U! Let me know if U need help with posters, I'm in N17 & I can help in the evenings. Good luck!

its amazing how small this world is. i called my homeland colombia to let them know what happened to missy and how i lost her and on monday when i phoned to check on the family they told the bad news and my aunts dog named LINDA went missing on sunday night in the same way as missy they had cleaners over to wash the sofas and left the door oppenned now they dont know if the cleaners took her or she run away. but they miss her so much and well i just want to say come home linda mummy and daddy miss you and well as for me now i feel even sader because not only is my princess missing but Linda too hurry home you too you have us worried

Will keep an eye out. Was up at Battersea and quite a few white staffs up there and have written to my MP Susan kramer about dog theft and that it should be taken very seriously. After all if someone stole a Police dog they 'd be out looking so why not for others. Theft is theft. Complain to the Head of Housing Associations I think Dame Brenda Dean is the head of it. They should let you know the specific contractors or are they using cowboys?Good Luck

Its probably no help but I feel sure that in the last couple of days I have seen a young white SBT on a rescue site somewhere but cannot so far find it again. It was not the one on Vale Royal. I will keep on looking It was one only put on recently. Perhaps others have the time to trawl through any they know?

lol Sue I'm glad we're all thinking the same thing! Currently talking to owner about the dog, although we suspect this one is a little too stocky to be Missy. Not discounting it though, but I think we need more photos.

Will print of posters for Dog club tomorrow (Enfield) and tell every one at work about Missy, I work for Haringey. Has owner spoken to the Pet Shop in Tottenham High Road, have always put up my poster and got more involved with missing Dogs since meeting Jayne at a Dog show in Tottenham.

i'm missy's owner. i just contacted northern sbt and it looks like they might be able to help there is a good chance that the dog they have as "rosy" might be my "missy" but i dont know for sure yet thank you very much staffy girl

yeh i mean i always see people putting posters up and i always thought why not get the police to help but when it happened to me i found out that the police are just completely useless. and the fact that "theft" is apparenly a "crime" is fustrating seeing how little the police cares about the dogs. if anyone out there know about missy's whereabout please help me find her and i really miss her.

Posters need to be put up in the area a.s.a.p. lamposts, entrances to parks, vets, dog training clubs, petshops, schools, deliver to houses etc. Ask postie, milkmen and binmen to lookout. Handout smaller posters to people, especially dog walkers. Put A4 poster in car windows. rescue centres need checking regularly and preferably visited in person, by owner or someone who knows Missy. I think definitely the police should be involved in this one. Whats the matter with the council as well. If it was jewlery or something like that went missing ,would they still not give contractors name. It all seems a bit sus to me. I hope you are soon found Missy. Stay safe sweetie. xx

Owners had had workman in from a housing association who were paying a lot of attention to Missy-when they left she went missing too-The housing association involved will not release the names of the contractors.
