- REUNITED!!!!! Ava is back with Sandie caught in fields she's been sighted in.
- 2015-08-15 21:56 Sazza
- Sighted around 7pm in the fields behind where they're building the new bridge. The fields accessible from meadgate primary school. A lot of people there, no further sightings since.
It was in the over grown 'corner' right on top of the army and navy roundabout - by the stream.
This means since crossing Essex yeomanry way yesterday she hasn't really moved! - 2015-08-14 22:35 CopperM
- As Ava is a rescue, it may be worth considering where she came from prior to living with you. Which direction would that be?
My current dog is very sensitive to direction and smells of individual walks.
Another dog I knew used to find his way home from Danbury or Galleywood to Meadgate! Sure it was the smellls of the intervening walks that helped him.
Away from home or I'd be helping on the ground...

- Changed to South East thank you. We have done all these places but just keep going back in case we missed her. She is very timid

- Please change to south east to aid searching!
Have you considered wandering around the cemetary and allotments nearby - there must be water available there.
This bridleway was an impenetrable footpath when I had my first dog xxyears ago!
Have emailed a friend who lives in Brook Lane.
Good Luck! - 2015-08-13 21:19 AlisonH
