Urgent Kobi has gone missing about 1pm today Tuesday - hit by a car in Bussage park and bolted off up a lane towards Frithwood Cemetery, extremely nervous do not approach and could be badly hurt if you find him please ring owner 07771 808667 or Starfish Dog Rescue 07980 934164 . Been out searching by no signs. PLEASE SHARE...

Kobi was last seen on the ridge in bussage at 1.30pm not long after he was hit by a car, but didn't seem too hurt when he was seen just after.
Please keep a look out for him.

Just done another scout around for 30mins..no sign...but the speed people are driving up and down toadsmoor hill is unbelievable. A dog trailing a lead with restricted vision wouldn't stand a chance. If you have family/friends using toadsmoor tonight please tell them to slow right down to give the searchers a chance..there are lots of kind people up there trying to spot him. There was another sighting this morning 7.30am nr the top of toadsmoor again..still with his lead on

Just got back to see no joy...so disappointed for this little dog who has had a tough life. Got everything crossed tonight...needs lots of twitter and facebook help to get locals out helping. There's lots of population in the area he is in. Where was searched mainly today?

We are all meeting again this evening to search for Kobi. Have also advised the owners to bring a bbq along and hope the smell helps bring him out. Fingers crossed that we at least get a sighting,if not bring him home!

One more note from my early meet with the owner this morning: he is thought to have lived quite a feral life over in Ireland so may be very good at finding cover, staying hidden etc. A good walking search of toadsmoor hill/area between there and the houses on the Ridge is probably needed to listen for movement or check he isn't trapped by his lead. I suggested to the owner that he may head for water which is down by houses on the right as you go down toadsmoor hill.

Just driven whole area from 6-7am. Met owner..a cab driver thinks he saw him by the aberlink building nr top of toadsmoor late last nt. Owner has left a blanket and food in wooded area between the ridge and toadsmoor as there is s spot she saw where he may have slept. I looked in frith wood..not a sound in there.

Just done around 35mins driving around Bussage, toadsmoor, eastcombe, a419 etc. No sign..saw plenty of relaxed cats on tanglewood, ridgeway, the ridge.. so assume kobi wasn't in the immediate vicinity of those! So sorry I couldn't spot him. Did old Bussage past the ram too.

kobi is a rescue dog only been in his home a few hours the owner was walking him when he tripped over and kobi bolted so he still has his lead attached.kobi is very timid and will be very scared. rescue have been notified. have advised to poster the area and hand out fliers to local dog walkers
