I am so very sorry to read your sad and tragic update and fully understand how upset you are. Network Rail will have a customer service centre within your area and please try to give them a call. They also have a service that does pick up peoples much loved animals. See if Network Rail will give you the number of this company who might be called Autocleanse and it maybe that they may be able to offer you a bit more information. I do so hope that somebody will be able to tell you what has happened to your lovely Tess and also be able to give you back your dog's collar and ID tag. xx

This is such sad news and I am so very, very sorry. I can't understand though how Network Rail can fail to find poor Tess if she has been seen by a worker - either she is there or someone has removed her, and her poor owners need to find out which in order to have her back and have closure. As the local paper printed a piece on Tess last week, perhaps they would be good enough to follow this development up with Network Rail on the owner's behalf to get to the truth.

Very sorry to hear this sad news, but is the railway 100% sure it was Tees..Such a shame he did not arrange her collection so owners could confirm it was her..RIP beautiful girl ♥ xx

The last sighting was Tuesday 18th august, until Thursdays 20th, when a Network rail worker said she was dead at the side of the tracks, however an other worker walked the tracks and couldn't find a body, ? this dog was wearing a collar and tag when she ran off in fright, she is also microchipped, why oh why can't they bring in bodies when found and try to identify them, we are in bits. What is the point of them wearing all this id gear, for it to be ignored.

Any news on little Tess? I live locally and am keeping my eyes peeled, and keep checking to see if there are any updates here. Manchester Terriers are such lovely dogs. I do hope she's found soon.
