- Brilliant news - so pleased to hear that Lola is home. Well done to the local RSPCA who scanned and reunited her but especially to those who reported her as a stray, fed her and alerted the relevant people. I expect that she will be back to normal once she has caught up on her beauty sleep! Welcome home beautiful Lola.

- Fantastic news, Welcome home Lola. Stay safe now. Perhaps she inadvertently "Hitched" a lift as spayed females dont tende to wander far normally

- About a mile and a half. I'm still of the opinion that the plasterers van that was parked on her street that day may have had something to do with her displacement.
I went to see her this morning and although a little thin and smelly, she is fine. Last heard she was fast asleep on her owners bed. Such a relief for her to be back home where she belongs :) - 2015-10-04 19:53 Jayne - Founder Doglost.
- Great news! How far away was she?

- Lola is home!!!! So chuffed that this little girl is home safe and well. here is an update from her owner. Stay safe now sweetheart xxx
Lola has been found and is safe at home after missing for 6 weeks and 6 days!!!. Bit grubby but otherwise ok. Massive thank you to RSPCA who scanned her and returned her and to the wonderful people who reported her and fed her while she was away. Same goes to all our friends, you know who you are, who supported us and helped us to find her. Also to all the wonderful people on FB for all your shares and good wishes. To whoever is in the same position as us my message to you is simple, never give up! - 2015-09-09 09:22 Unknown

- When Lola's owners are out looking, please ask them to make certain that they check out the windows (both upstairs and downstairs) of all local properties, especially any that appear empty (possibly owners away on holiday) or are for sale/rent. Call Lola's name, tap food bowl, stop, wait, listen and look outside each house.

- It is worth going round the area again to check sheds, vehicles etc. my cat was locked in a loft over a neighbours garage for 15 days; the neighbour genuinely thought he had searched his outbuildings but forgot that the loft had been opened briefly to store some little used item. The cat must have spotted an unusual looking opening and in he went!

- Possible sightings so far:
Monday afternoon - in a garden on Moorland Road, Carrbrook. A van was parked on Lola's street the day she went missing and the owner of the van lives on Moorland Road so this is a possibility.
Tuesday afternoon - crossing Huddersfield Road, Carrbrook towards Raja Brothers off license. There is a similar cat that lives across the road so keeping an open mind but it would tie in with the sighting on Morrland Road if it was her. - 2015-08-19 16:56 Jackalee (Kathryn) - Area Co-ordinator - Greater Manchester
- Thanks Loopylurcher :) Posters are up in the area and everyone is looking, at all hours, for Lola. Flyers will be going through doors tonight requesting people check their sheds etc. Quite a mystery at the moment :(

- I would go out in early hours when it is quiet & call + rattle her bowl. Hopefully
you will hear her mew if shut in somewhere/hiding. I'd knock on all doors & ask neighbours to check sheds/garages too. Hope Lola is found safe & soon (she reminds
me of one of my old cats) - 2015-08-18 09:40 Jackalee (Kathryn) - Area Co-ordinator - Greater Manchester
- Thank janiejewel1649. Most of this is already being done but will be speaking to the owners again today. People will be out again looking today and hopefully posters will be going up.

- Early days yet. Lola is spayed so wont be too far away Put some tuna in her dish, and keep calling her, night time is best (Someone may be feeding her) Put something with her scent on, such as her blanket/bedding, and place in a clean container, leave in the garden, along with something with your scent on too, and pjut in a sheltered spot. Also wipe her scent (And yours) on your garden fences if you can, and things leading up tol the house such as lampposts etc. Put "Lost£ posters through doors, and ask around. There is a site online: Catchat which gives many more tips on how to find your lost cat. Just google Catchat lost cats. You could try this , if you use TINNED cat food leave the door open, and open the tin. The sound of the can opener, and the smell of the food may being her back Seems you have looked in outbuildings etc. Look behind hedges to see if she has been injured, and is scaredLast edited: 2015-08-18 08:23:37
