Today Brambles owner went back to the scene of the reported accident and took her other dog, Damson with her. Damson searched the area and found Brambles collar. She then crossed the road and sniffed along the verge and eventually came across Brambles body that had been thrown into a dyke. Bramble will be taken home and buried in a special place in the garden.
Brambles owner has thanked Doglost for creating the missing poster as without them she would never have got the call that eventually gave her closure.
Such a sad outcome. R.I.P Bramble.

The owner has received a call from a man saying that about two weeks ago he saw a dog fitting Bramble's description being knocked over. He gave details of the place of the accident and the owners have been over there but they have found no evidence. I have advised they contact the police and highways/council as if the body of a dog was picked up the details should have been logged. I will update the page if there is any news.

Damson found her way home and tried to get the owners attention to find Bramble but after searching for 2 hours they have not located her.
