Did discuss with owner about getting him NEUTERED the first time he was REUNITED. Having to pay pound fines twice in such a short time has been very costly for owner.
ClaireC
Naughty but lovely boy. Try to stay safe and close. Xx
BorderCol
So pleased he is safe.
It may be that he is being tempted away from home by someone walking a bitch in season nearby. I would suggest consulting a vet about a " castration" implant. It will be effective for months and then gradually wear off; it gives owners the time to assess whether surgical castration is the right option to solve the roaming and whether there are any other effects either positive or negative.

WOO HOO MR CHIPS is finally back HOME tonight. The family are over the moon to have him back and he has now been MICROCHIPPED.

Owner has had a bit of a run a round to get him back but hard work has finally paid off. Look forward to getting a REUNITED photo which we all love to see.

THANK YOU to everyone who has shown concern for him.

Into the BLUE you go gorgeous MR CHIPS and stop wandering. WELCOME HOME.

susieq666 he will be getting CHIPPED just pity he was not last time before leaving the kennels.

He did have a collar on with ID when he went missing but it was not on him when he was handed into the kennels. :(

Just get that beautiful dog chipped! He's obviously a bit of a wanderer.

Yes owner has just confirmed it is MR CHIPS in the kennels but they are trying to raise the funds to get him out. Hopefully he will be home soon and get CHIPPED before leaving the kennels.

Thanks again Cheshire Dogs Home for checking DogLost which has helped once again to reunite pets with their family.

Thanks GIZWOO will pass details onto owner. Fingers crossed it is Mr Chips if he is still missing. As said in my post below was really surprised when owner said he was not CHIPPED by the kennels before he was taken home last time.

MANCHESTER DOGS HOME have a border collie in from the wardens, may be worth giving them a call, if you ask on collection, they can do the microchip for £3, or ask if its in with the claim fee depending upon which council it is

Has he been microchipped since his last escape?

Have spoke to owner and yes pleased to report MR CHIPS is BACK HOME.

He had been picked up not far from where he had gone missing and handed into the Wardens and taken to Cheshire Dogs Home. Family did put his missing details on local fb groups and his finder seen the details and replied. Owner had to pay £128 to get him back. Surprisingly he was not CHIPPED by the kennels before going home. Have given owner advice on where to get him CHIPPED and advised getting him NEUTERED. He will be getting CHIPPED a.s.a.p. He now has a collar on with contact details.

Have great pleasure in moving him into the BLUE. WELCOME HOME gorgeous MR CHIPS sending you lots of hugs and cuddles.

THANK YOU to everyone who helped look out for him.

Thanks everyone. The mobile number is what was left with Admin. I've rang the landline for an update but no answer at the moment.

I contacted the owner to ask if it was ok to go out looking for Mr Chips. During the conversation I asked if they had followed up the info posted re the Animal Warden website. They had not seen Millypod's comment, so I read them the telephone number and ID ref so they could ring. The post on the animal warden and doglost websites are still as "found" and "lost" - not reunited. I presume it was not him?!

There's a digit missing from the mobile number. Where was he lost? From the house or on a walk? If so which park or field?Last edited: 2015-08-19 10:15:58 by elspethjones
