THANK YOU to everyone who has been coming forward with their own experiences whilst their own dogs were in the same care as poor GIZMO and also ex employees. Thoughts are with you all. - 2015-09-12 17:47 Skywalker99
- There is now another Facebook page 'justice for Gizmo, Alfie and Finn' as well as Gizmos original page. It says Gizmo dies after being attacked by two other dogs (dogs were not kept in separate kennels). Many other stories of dogs who suffered there.

- I stated that quite factually - when I read the update on Gizmos FB page before putting the info on here I was shopping in a local supermarket - and actually cried as I read it. So cruel, calculating and I don't say this lightly - evil.
- 2015-09-12 16:04 susieq666
- I agree. That really is horrible. What's the matter with the man? He needs to be locked up, even if it's for insanity, which he must be.
- 2015-09-12 14:55 Skywalker99
- OMG that's vile. In my book that is abusive and manipulative behaviour. I hope the police find something to charge him with.
- 2015-09-12 14:19 Bo
- Gizmo was killed within 2 or 3 days of arriving at the "trainers". His body was thrown in the bin and his collar given to another dog within xxxxxx Mxxxxx "care". He confessed this to the police and the family have his collar back now. xxxxxxx then sent video clips that he had from the first few days Gizmo was in his care and sent them to the family over the ensuing 2 or so weeks before he fabricated the beach incident.
- 2015-09-11 22:04 Unknown
- Bo thank you for the update. why should he appeal. when he has broken the law TWICE? Words fail me. And let us not forget the dogs
- 2015-09-11 19:10 Bo
- From the Liverpool Echo "kennel owner who is accused of failing to prevent three dogs dying while in his care has been ordered to close his business TWICE, it emerged today.
Dog trainer and owner of Total Dogs, xxxxxxxx xxxxx, has been told to cease trading at his unauthorised kennels by Sefton Council on two occasions in the last 12 months.
Town hall bosses also told him to demolish the purpose built kennel block, constructed in 2014, where the puppies were housed, as he had no planning permission for the buildings.
Father-of-two xx xxxxx, who lives on Chapel Lane, Netherton, is in the process of appealing the notices.
A spokesman for Sefton Council said: “We have served xx xxxxx with two enforcement notices requiring him to cease trading as an unauthorised dog kennels and boarding, and to demolish specified buildings following the refusal of planning permission." - 2015-09-11 06:42 Bo

- Kit`sMum I believe that it may be a police matter, and that Gizmo`s fate may be a bit sus. Therefore Doglost can only allow messages of sympathy to his owners at the moment.

- Nothing I can add except that it makes me terribly sad.
- 2015-09-10 11:23 Skywalker99
- It's not just awful that something happened to Gizmo and he died, but also that his family spent 3 weeks looking for him and lots of other people gave up their time to help them...and all the while the person who had been caring for him knew they would never find him and didn't say anything.

- I realise people want to kick off and let off steam...is there A FB page someone can give a link too...if not please remember no names or personal details can be put on Doglost.
- 2015-09-09 14:40 Bo
- The story about Gizmo running off was a lie. The dog 'trainer' admitted that Gizmo had died as a result of something that happened under his 'care'. He allegedly lost another dog earlier this year. It's in the hands of the authorities and speculation is pointless. Very sad and avoidable end to much loved dogs. Last edited: 2015-09-09 14:50:09 by Bo

- According to his FB page there was another dog called Finn with the same boarder who died in his sleep 3 weeks before Gizmo....however the boarder has not returned Finn's body to his owners and has changed his tory about what happened to it.

- OMG!
- 2015-09-09 14:20 Skywalker99
- According to Gizmo's Facebook page his death is now in the hands of the police, Gizmo seems to be the 3rd dog to disappear/come to harm while in the care of the dog boarder he was with

- Rainbow Bridge
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Statement on behalf of Gizmo's family 😢
R.I.P GIZMO
The family of Gizmo are overwhelmed by the support that they've received over the past few weeks and wish to thank each and everyone of you for your help in searching for Gizmo. It has been a very emotional time for all concern but especially to Michelle and her family , he truly was their little baby boy.
Sadly it has come to light that Gizmo has passed over Rainbow Bridge . They are heartbroken over the loss of their beloved furbaby. I along with all the members of Find Gizmo and Scouse Pets would like to extend our deepest condolences to Michelle Wynne and her family at this sad time and ask members just to write messages of condolences to the family at this sad moment in time 🙏💜
further updates will be given at an appropriate time
