I really hope that Clover is back home soon she has been out there too long now x
HermioneRiley
Potential sighting on Sunday 13th December at the following location, so close to many previous sightings around the Woburn golf club. https://goo.gl/maps/1GFtJAXvnGz
Please continue to keep an eye out and continue to talk about Clover's adventure - we need to keep her at the forefront of everyone's minds - wouldn't it be wonderful if we could get her home for Christmas and give my daughters the best present they could possibly wish for. Thank you.
HermioneRiley
The last day in November 2015, 100 days since Clover went missing and still the sightings come (most recently on Wednesday 25th November by a green keeper at Woburn Golf Club). We need all the help we can get to ensure she's home for Christmas. To those who can aid our campaign or might even know people in the area please continue to share and keep track of her adventure. The heartbreak doesn't get any easier for any of us at home and as time goes on she appears to be going further a field.
Places of interest are Aspley Heath, Woburn Sands, Bow Brickhill, Woburn and all the glorious jack russell terrier hunting ground in-between (MK17).
If you happen to see her please first try to get a photograph on your mobile telephone and then see if you can entice her to you before informing us ASAP. She will be extremely weary after such a long time but enjoyed 8 years of cuddles, love and human companionship, I can't believe she couldn't do with some more. Thank you and reward offered for her safe return.
HermioneRiley
Emergency search party led by the tracker dog handler heading our shortly. Rather terrifyingly we've had a sighting reported near Frosts Garden Centre. Meaning this dog has crossed a railway line and heading towards major roads and Milton Keynes itself. Probably lost it's bearings since heading to the village and can't find it's way back to the safety of the woods. Any locals please join, they will be meeting at the cenotaph in Woburn Sands at 1930-2000 and everything crossed. If you hope to join then please pm me and I'll send you further details as required. H
HermioneRiley
A further potential sighting actually in the village of Woburn Sands yesterday afternoon at the time of school -run. The terrier was seen outside both the CoOp and by the cenotaph (with the clock on). Please please if you see this dog take a photograph for our confirmation and then let us know where or when if you yourself can't catch it. I have chatted to Ray Dedicoat but at the moment it would appear this dog is on the move so for his skills we need to have more of a regular sighting in one place. We hope she may well be heading home…. Everything crossed! H
Skywalker99
Have you contacted Ray Dedicoat for advice?
HermioneRiley
Further sighting/barking heard in Aspley Heath Woods of a dog matching her description this morning (Monday 9th November) at 0530 on the Bow Brickhill side of Fullers Bridleway (the main/wide sandy route through the middle of the Woods) in the area between Fullers Bridleway and the top corner of the golf course before the bridleway starts going downhill. She is getting closer to the property she went missing from. Please if you see this dog, first take a photograph before trying to tempt her to you and then telephoning me with the details of where and when ASAP. The sooner we can action these sightings the quicker we can get people on the ground. Thank you. H
HermioneRiley
Many of you have been enquiring as to the latest on Clover. According to our amazing team of volunteers, the tracker dog handler and numerous sightings over the last three weeks it would appear that she may be alive and living off the land.
I would imagine that she may go to ground over the coming days as she hated fireworks but we hope and pray for more sightings and that she'll give herself up to someone who puts her at ease soon.
I know this has now been ongoing for almost 11 weeks but we still need your help:
Please share again and if you are local keep an eye out. If you do see this dog matching her description first take a photo for us and then see if you can catch her before letting me know where and when ASAP. A reminder; she doesn't wear a collar but is microchipped, has a distinctive scar over her right eye and a docked tail.
Again huge thanks to all those who are helping us as we are unable to be in the area, they are putting in a tremendous effort and we could not express our thanks enough.
Skywalker99
You might want to contact Ray Dedicoat (www.raydedicoat.com), he has loads of experience in trapping dogs. I would also get your in laws to leave food and something with a familiar smell outside their house if poss.
HermioneRiley
Today the tracker team are sure they have uncovered more positive sightings and she is in the area basically in a triangular shape between the golf club, the end of Fullers Earth bridle way and my in-laws house in Aspley Heath on Church Road. Her behaviour and the fact she is no further than 2 miles away from 'home' baffles us. What we now need to try and establish is her rounds and timings and how on earth someone can get her caught.
Mishybird
good luck to you all, please make your self know to the good guys Clover xx
HermioneRiley
Due to lots of sightings and barking heard over the last fortnight we have a search party going out. It is being led by a tracker dog handler who is kindly helping us out. We have a few volunteers from the Woburn bike trail club joining him but could always do with more if anyone is free and willing. They are meeting at 8am TOMORROW (Thurs) at the car parking area at the junction of Longslade Lane, the right angle of Church Road and the road that passes the Golf Club's entrance. If you could it would be hugely appreciated, as you know, we as a family are over 100 miles away so relying on local support and help. Thank you in advance. Further sighting of this dirty dog matching Clover's description on Sunday 25th October just off the A5130 on the bridleway known as Fullers Earth about 300yds up. https://www.google.co.uk/maps/place/51%C2%B059'50.0%22N+0%C2%B038'23.4%22W/@51.997222,-0.6413798,317m/data=!3m2!1e3!4b1!4m2!3m1!1s0x0:0x0

Do hope you get her home soon xx
HermioneRiley
A potential sighting on Wednesday 21st Oct at 3pm on the junction of Longslade Lane and the A5130 heading in the direction of the car parks she has been sighted last week from. The search and efforts of so many continues! H
HermioneRiley
Sadly not her at Midsummer Vets. H

Similar dog found now at Midsummer Veterinary Group 01908 321115. Microchip not working.

As she has been out a while you may want to contact Ray Dedicoat (www.raydedicoat.com) he has lots of experience in trapping dogs.
HermioneRiley
Further potential sighting reported: A mountain biker saw a little white dog on Tuesday 13th October in the area of Aspley Woods called The Quarry, north side of the road between Woburn Sands and Woburn, tucked behind Aspley Guise. Please please keep a look out if walking in the area especially at dawn and dusk. H

Can all local helpers be emailed again please admin to keep Clover in their minds . She's holding a triangle so close to home need sightings to help us to help her 😊 Last edited: 2015-10-18 20:06:19 by MrsM

A second sighting discovered having been in the area yesterday. A walker heading back to the same car park saw the dog on Thursday 15th October at around 6.30pm. Sadly on seeing his two large dogs it fled back into the woodland on the right hand side. We continue to work on laying familiar scents back to where she needs to be but please if anyone sees this dog, let us know as it's sightings we need to tighten our search area and options. Thank you. H

crossing everything and hoping that this is Clover and she returns home to her family after her adventure x
DogLostAngus
bumped for the sighting - location would be highly likely to be her, so much ground cover so keep eyes peeled
Skywalker99
Can you in-laws leave food/bedding where she was seen?
Hollieberry
Great to hear that Clover has been seen she does have unique markings all we need now is someone to catch her and get her home before the weather turns too cold. Poor girl she has been on her own a long time she wants to be home x
HermioneRiley
How ironic that on the day we have picked up a 9 week old GSP puppy to try and heal all our broken hearts there is the most promising sighting of Clover to date. Wouldn't it be the happiest of endings if she was to come home to a new playmate after her 8 week 'adventure'?
A dog matching her description was seen in the car parking area at the bottom of Church Road, the junction with Longslade Lane. It is on the edge of Woburn Golf course practically in the middle of the woods bordered by Aspley Heath (MK17), from where she went missing, Bow Brickhill, Woburn and the A5.
The gentleman spent some time trying to entice her into his car as she was very definitely alone. Sadly she got spooked and ran off. However he got a good look and having previously seen our posters is confident it is her. He, the landlord of the Wheatsheaf Pub, Bow Brickhill and my in-laws followed it up later in the evening with no joy (we can't thank them all enough).
We as a family are over 115 miles away and you have been so fabulous in the area. With your looking and messages of support you are a community of true dog lovers and good samaritans.
This is the most noteworthy sighting yet as it wasn't a brief look but someone who has managed to get relatively close. Please, one last push and share to get my constant companion and my children's playmate home. My husband will again be returning to the area tomorrow to get familiar feet and smells on the ground.
REWARD FOR HER SAFE RETURN AND THANK YOU AGAIN!

PLEASE CONTINUE TO HELP:
There has been another sighting this morning of the dog resembling CLOVER on the V11 between H7 & H6 alongside Middleton, Milton Keynes, MK10 (between the bus stop and village turning): One on 11th September in the morning , 19th September just after 6pm and only this morning, 23rd September around 11am.
This dog must think it needs to be somewhere else even though it was thought to be wearing a harness. It tried to cross the dual carriageway, managed to get under a lorry and miss a car before returning to the left hand side bushes - it is only a matter of time before it is not so lucky!
Whether this dog is mine or not; it needs to be caught and secured, it must be terrified and I would appreciate any help in the area as I am over 100 miles away.
There is a reward in place if it is Clover and she is returned safely to us.
DogLostNina
Wonder if getting post codes for these grid references would be possible then perhaps admin may consider putting new alerts out for you. It may well be worth contacting admin unless they have already covered the area
HermioneRiley
These are referring to the road grid work of Milton Keynes: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Milton_Keynes_grid_road_system

Cime on Clover, please get found soon.

Nina it is postcodes of the areas of sightings where Clover maybe x
DogLostNina
Not familiar with the term V11,H7,H6 can you explain. Not in your area that Clover is missing so it doesnt mean much to me.
AlisonH
Bumped due to recent sightings.
HermioneRiley
There has been a couple of sightings resembling my missing dog on the V11 between H7 & H6 alongside Middleton: One on 11th September in the morning and one last night, 19th September just after 6pm.
Whether this dog is mine or not; it needs to be caught before it gets run over. If anyone is along that path do keep an eye out and if seen, try and secure this dog. Or if you know a dog that lives in the area resembling ours that gets out, let us know and we can then disregard this lead.
There is a reward in place if it is Clover and she is returned safely to us.
Maggie

Hope to see Clover home VERY soon x

Owner please take the chance whilst visiting the area of getting posters into schools and colleges in the area with a reward towards school funds.
HermioneRiley
We as a family are preparing for a return trip to Aspley Heath MK17 this weekend to have another search for our much missed jack russell terrier CLOVER. We are all tormented with the unknown and utterly grief-stricken, so I would beg of you to share this again. If not for me or her, for my two small children. One of them turned 5 this week and all she really wished for was her little playmate to come home.
Someone may have bought her unknown that she has a very loving family mourning her loss, there is a reward for her safe return. Thank you. H
HermioneRiley
She is docked, just slightly longer than normal. H
Mishybird
Just to confirm, is the tail docked or not docked, photo shows full tail, info says docked? I do hope Clover is back home soon. x
Unknown
Hermionoe get loads more posters where ever there is a sighting.. go to the local newspapers and if need be pay to have an article put in there not an advert they may run the story for you , go to the local radio stations put up a reward for the safe return of her..... put her on gumtree , preloved, Dragons Driving ,Pets4home and any other sites you can think of . when there is a sighting find out the dustbin days in the area and get out there to see if she is rummaging through them I really do hope she is home soon, xxxx
HermioneRiley
The heartbreak of Clover's disappearance has now been ongoing for a fortnight. We are all running out of hope but I would ask you again to kindly share this post. Some well meaning member of the public may have taken her in thinking she is a stray as she doesn't wear a collar.
A reminder of the circumstances: She was staying with my in-laws whilst we moved house, last seen off Church Road, Aspley Heath, Woburn Sands, MK17 on Saturday 22nd August in the early evening. She has not been seen since. She in microchipped, has a docked tail and a distinctive scar over her right eye.
There have been potential sightings reported in both Bow Brickhill and Woburn, I would ask people in these areas if they would be particularly vigilant. She needs to be made safe and secure, if not already.
The unknown is what hurts the most, especially for our young children, so any help and information is much appreciated.

There was another potential sighting of her in Bow Brickhill yesterday (Wednesday 2nd September) looking terribly malnourished. We just need her safe and secured. H

Within a few days most schools will reopen our schools on Thursday this week. I am sure you have postered it really is one of the best ways of reaching the public as a lot of people still do not use facebook or twitter. By the way have you done anything about leaving a scent trail to try and get Clover home.Last edited: 2015-09-01 20:42:08 by Nina
HermioneRiley
Sadly all the schools and colleges will still be on Summer holidays. The sighting on Saturday 22nd appears to be of another dog that has been reunited. Actual sighting was on the 15th and I think the warden took her in on the 17th. A happy ending and we still hope and pray for ours! H
DogLostNina
Contact any schools and colleges and offer a reward towards school funds, children don't miss a thing.
HermioneRiley
Further potential sighting on the Saturday trotting along the Woburn Road, on the member of the public trying to catch her she bolted into the woods towards Centre Parcs. A further report that she was seen on Tuesday 25th August in Forest Lodge Kennels, just south of Northampton, NN7. Potentially could have been rehomed with the timescale since her disappearance. Any information would be hugely appreciated. Thank you.
HermioneRiley
Still no news on Clover. We as a family have managed to be at the property she went missing from since Friday 28th August. We have been out every day putting up posters, leafleting and generally letting people know. We have been desperately trying to contact K9Traker both online and via an intermediary. Would anyone have an alternative point of contact or another tracker dog service available? We really would like to pursue every possible avenue. As Angus mentioned the vicinity of the sighting with the stables may be too much of a coincidence. We have planned a morning of telephoning all the vets and rescues in the area tomorrow and will let you know if there is any further news to report. Thank you.Last edited: 2015-09-01 10:53:05 by HermioneRiley

There is a JRT lives at the stables on the corner by the roundabout near the level crossing at Bow Brickhill - might be worth knocking at the house to see if it was out at that time - as I have returned this dog before
DogLostNina
Owner please can you bring us up to date with what has been done to get your dog home. ie. postering, scenting contacting etc.
HermioneRiley
A potential sighting reported in Bow Brickhill heading towards the station at 4pm yesterday (Tuesday 25th August) If you know anyone in the village please can you forward this link so they can keep their eyes peeled. Thank you
Skywalker99
or you could try a tracker dog www.k9tracker.co.uk
DogLostNina
Has anyone spoken to you about the scenting method of trying to get your dog home. In basic terms in means collecting your pee and usung a sprinkler of some kind leave a trail to your back or front door. If you cut up some of your old clothing into small pieces you can also leave a trail of that too.
HermioneRiley
Reward offered for her safe return!
HermioneRiley
PLEASE HELP! My beloved Jack Russell Terrier, Clover has been missing overnight from my in-laws, where she was staying whilst we move house. She was last seen off Church Road, Aspley Heath, Nr. Woburn Sands in Buckinghamshire late afternoon on Saturday 22nd August. It is extremely out of character for her not to return from her rounds of the garden and nearby woods, letting herself in through their cat flap. She is microchipped but does not wear a collar and has a distinctive scar over her right eye. If you know anyone in the area please do help spread the word as we as a family would be devastated if she didn't come home! Thank you

I have shared with Doglost FB group & Twitter. Hope Clover is safely back at home soon. X
