- Hi there, Thank you for all the support over the last year. We've never given up hope of finding Trixie and any news would be welcome. She has left a big hole in our family. My fluffy little angel girl is so missed. Everyone has been so lovely helping to search for Trixie both online through the 'found' dogs and out and about locally too. I wish i could feedback some good news but we have nothing to offer. She just disappeared just over a year ago from my parents garden. We have flyered the area for miles around, taken out ads in the local papers. I still have her missing poster in the back window of my car. We are not going to give up hope as this is the very least we owe Trixie in her old age. I just pray she isn't in any pain and that she is happy wherever she is. She is getting on a bit and deserves the best comforts in her old age. Originally a rescue dog we took her home just before Christmas about 13 years ago. My son has grown up with her. She came everywhere with me as i was lucky to be able to take her to work with me. One of my jobs is taking a young man with learning disabilities to a weekly music and movement session. Trixie was welcomed by the group and roamed the room freely making friends with the other users of the group. She is the most patient creature and so gentle they all really miss her and some still ask me every week if there is any news... I miss my best friend so much and just hope more than anything that she is safe, warm, comfortable and pain free. Any news of her would be so welcome.Thank you again everyone for all your support over the last year. There are some lovely people out there... We are still looking and won't give up as this is the least Trixie deserves.

- Trixie's owner is still desperately wanting some news, posters are still up in the area and although there have been a few possible matches sadly none were Trixie.

- We still have the poster in our window at Bird Ventures in Holt and are talking to our customers that live in the area about Trixie. Bird watchers in the area are also keeping a look out in the countryside around Fakenham.

- Trixie's owner had a call about a possible sighting yesterday and have been out searching and putting flyers through doors, the possible sighting was between North Creak and Stanhoe. The owners searched the fields for a couple of hours this afternoon and put more posters up and also spoke to the gamekeepers wife.

- Took a poster into the pet shop at Sheringham and asked them to put it up on Wednesday, just gone,a different area but anything is worth a try.
More posters and ask the Travellers sites. - 2015-10-30 17:52 Lesley (ID84584)
- I drove through Flitcham on the B1153 off the A148 and didn;t see any posters until I was just before Grt Bircham. Could I suggest you put posters up at incoming or outgoing T Junctions to and from Flitcham so covers area that is Flitcham but not in main village. If people coning in off the A148 and turning off they won't know about Trixie. Up to you, of course.

- I pulled out my dowsing stuff... I'm not a professional. Dabbled a long time ago. Will list questions and answers but no guarantee accurate and would be up to Hannah to act on it in whatever way suits. I asked test questions (circle is yes and straight is no. No movement means my question is not clear)
Test questions:
Is Trixie a boy: no
Is Trixie a puppy: no:
Is Trixie old: yes
Now the rest:
Is Trixie alive: yes
Is she near where she went missing: yes
Is she near where her owner last saw her: no movement
Is Trixie alone: no
Are people searching near to where Trixie is: yes but weak circle
Is she hiding in a ditch.: yes then no (assume could have been but not now)
Is she by fields: yes
Is she by a barn: no
Is she with people: yes
Can she go into a garden: yes
Is she being looked after by people: yes
Are they older people: yes
Are they dog lovers: yes
Is she allowed indoors yes:
Do they know she is missing: no
Are they kind people: yes
Do they really like Trixie: yes
Do they have livestock: no
Do they love animals: yes
Do they have dogs: yes
Is she with other dogs: yes
Do they have cats: no
Have they seen her posters: no
Do they know she is a missing dog: no
Do they think she has been dumped: yes
Is Trixie happy: yes
Does Trixie want to go home: yes
Are there horses: yes
Are they registered with a vet: no (I thought maybe they rent stables then decided to rephrase the question and came up yes but they have not registered Trixie
Will Trixie be found: yes
I hope this doesn't raise hopes and please continue with whatever you are doing. I am not qualified and again I just dabble. I don't know how she went missing or exact area so cannot print off a map. I am trying Lizuca 89568 tomorrow. Naturally feel free to ignore. All the best.

- Have owners investigated travellers at Snettisham, think were down Beach Road and think there are some at Saddlebow?
A lot will be going back to Leicester/Corby etc soon.
Not trying to badmouth travellers but they do like dogs. - 2015-09-04 06:48 Jot cotswolds
- Still no info here about how she she was lost..or on Facebook. It would help to know if she was out somewhere on a walk? Disappeared from own garden? Owner is on Facebook needing help still but no clues about where to start. Is the likelihood she was actually taken..or wandered off during a walk somewhere specific?

- Sorry to see that TRIXIE is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (91223)
