- It sounds to me that someone is feeding her, and not too far away, as spayed females, will only have a small territory of two garden spaces; four for a neutered male. A neighbour of mine not too long ago put up "Lost" posters when her cat went missing, he was found two or three weeks later being fed by someone else round the corner from where he lived. Now reunited:-) I do wish people would`nt feed other people`s cats for this reason. Also the cat may be allergic to some cat food. There was a cat on Doglost (Reunited) who is allergic to wet cat food. Also if you feed other people`s cats you are enticing it (Without meaning to ) away from it`s family. I would keep doing what you are doing , and if she comes in clolse the catflap if you can, and see what happens. Someone MUST be feeding her. Ps. Looks like someone has taken her in. WHAT DO OTHER CAT OWNERS THINK? Last edited: 2015-08-28 13:36:06

- My cat disappeared when he was quite young. I think he just explored too far and got lost. I went out and called him at 3.30am when it was very quiet. He appeared through the cat flap 40 minutes later...I am convinced he heard my voice and went towards it.

- Presume all outbuildings seasrched. Put some tuna in her dish, and keep calling her name; night time is best. (Someone may be feeding her) Put something with her scent on, place inj a clean container , along with something with your scent on, and put in thne garden in a sheltere spot. Wipe Betsy`s scent on any garden fencse.and thi ngs leading up to the house such as lamposts etc. Put "Lost" posters through doors too, and ask around. Some people open a ti n of cat food with the door open, and the noise of the can opener, and the s mell of the cat food sometimes brings them back. Spayhed/neutered cats domt tend to wander far
