- Possibly the owner could not afford the fee and now it would be even more! Such a shame x

- According to a post by the neighbour on Swindon Needy Dogs - The dog was being looked after by someone else - not the owner when it went missing. As far as I can gather it was the person looking after the dog that called the police. The neighbour gave them the Wardens phone number. It is all a bit of a mystery as to why the dog hasn't been collected.
Just hope that if it isn't claimed that it goes to a good home. - 2015-09-05 14:17 Rose
- I wonder why owner contacted the Police, did they believe he was stolen? Would have been better to contact warden then they would have got him back sooner and fees would have been less. Such a shame he is gorgeous x

- Perhaps they can't afford the fees?

- As far as I'm aware -It doesn't look as if the owners have collected this dog from the Holding Kennels.
Their next door neighbour has said she would keep us all updated and posted on SND that she hasn't seen it. SND have commented that owners are aware but as yet not come to collect the dog - such a shame but hopefully if they don't want it - it will go for rehoming - 2015-08-31 11:08 Rose

- Looks as if this is the same dog as ID 91297 My daughter in law found this dog - it followed her home and the dog warden was able to capture it. It didn't have a Micro chip.
It is also posted on Swindon Needy Dogs and someone has commented that it belongs to their neighbour. She finally got in touch with the owners who had already contacted the Police but now that the neighbour has given them the Swindon Council number they are contacting the Dog Warden. Hoping for a good outcome. - 2015-08-29 10:25 Rose
