You know the dog found on Dog ID=10496 looks very close to Maxas does the dog named Tizer on htp://www.caninerescue.co.uk/rescue-dog-form.asp. has the owner managed to have a look yet?

Visited neighbour it is not Max, the one she has is dark brindle. She is so relieved as does not want to part with him, he is lovely, at least this boy has got a really good home. Jan xxx

Neighbour has just rehomed a young Lurcher from Halewood RSPCA will put a poster through her door and check to make sure it is not Max. This dog was picked up from the Ormskirk area. Jan xxx

I emailed Max's poster to all rescues in the area and further afield, also Merseyside Pet Ambulance, K92000 training club, Haydock Park, Holiday Inn, Thistle Hotel, Guardian newspaper, dogwarden, park rangers at St Helens, Warrington and Sankey Valley. Has the owner been and looked at Leigh as I can't email them? Need posters up everywhere, all local shops, pubs, taxis, bus stops, library, pet shops, vets, car boot sale at St Helens Chalon Way, etc

As soon as picture is put on site and posters are emailed to helpers they need to be put up in the area a.s.a.p. lamposts, entrances to parks, vets, dog training clubs, petshops, schools, deliver to houses etc. Ask postie, milkmen and binmen to lookout. Handout smaller posters to people, especially dog walkers. Put A4 poster in car windows. rescue centres need checking regularly and preferably visited in person, by owner or someone who knows Max.
