this is on the Animals in Manchester post...
He's our family member very glad he's found he's been missing since Saturday afternoon on failsworth canal really happy he's been found and can now be reunited with us he's name is TOBY I am now going to get him chipped wen we get him bk thanks to who ever found him x

i have asked if the dog is now back home as dog was at MDH and doesnt say whether they picked him up

Thanks Angie for the updates. As well as my normal circulation I have circualted it to the Papillon community as well. Surely someone must be missing the poor little chap.

I did update the original details as there was too much info on which is best held back as true owner would know how their dog behaves. Great to see the Manchester Dog Warden (link above) has also shared the details on their fb page and has been monitoring any potential owners.

Such a shame is not MICROCHIPPED and details up to date or wearing a collar with ID on.

I registered this boy as a favourdue to the finder being banned for some reason? Sorry its taken so long to update, however jaspers owner has been in contact with the phone number above and confirmed not jasper sadly. This little guy is still at mdh thank you for all the shares XXXX

he is now at mdh,the warden collected him.xhis picture is being widely circulated,and posters are up in the area where he was found.x

I sent a text to Jasper's owner, who replied to say she was in contact with the finder of this dog. I've heard nothing since.

Can anyone tell us if this Papillon has been checked for a microchip please or even if he has been claimed. I hope he isn't going to be yet another found dog who we hear no more information about.

Bit of a long shot but could this be Jasper DL ID 61975?

I imagine this one will be checked for a chip asap.

Thank you for taking the time to list this found dog and ensuring the safety of the dog.
Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
Please check on our Missing pages in case the Found dog has been registered as missing with us.
If possible please add a photo as this greatly assists our work in matching Found dogs with Missing dogs.
