Owner has been contacted currently on holiday abroad returning Friday. She is very annoyed at the 'responsible person' who were looking after then especially as no reprot was made to police council of their escape. She did not even realise they were chipped so will be getting details transferred upon return.
They had travelled about 2.5 miles from home which is surprising due to the area covered.
They will be kept safe by the expereinced wildlife person who trapped them as has suitable place for a short stay .
Esther

TRAPPED at 1.30 this morning. Both safe!!

Both microchipped to a breeder in Newacstle. She has details of where sold to ( Gravesend medway area- and trying to contact owner who it seems may be on holiday and someone is supposed to be looking after them.
A place to take them has been found & they will be taken to this suitable place till owner is contacted and able to collect.

The Wildwood Trust in Kent had Arctic foxes, and may know of others in the area, or advise about catching these.

I thought arctic foxes are only white in winter - in summer they are usually brown or grey. I've seen them in the wild several times and never seen a white one in summer. Is the colour correct?
charlie and sooty

Wasnt there one missing a while ago but reunited ?

in answer to facebook comments ...100% arctic foxes as they have different ear carriage and distance between eyes . Being publicised in case owners spot this. However I am sure that they cannot be many Arctic foxes missing in Kent so exact location is not necessary.
Reason for NOT giving location is to avoid an influx of people trying to see them and spook them. Police aware and agree with location not being divulged. Now feeding quite close to humans and area now being kept food free and traps will be set tonight.
DogLostCJ - Police Liaison & SE Regional Coordinator
Sighted only and plans in action to trap. Look as if have been reared and possibly escaped from a private collection. Any one who can prove these foxes belong to them location will be divulged to assist in the capture.
