So very sad to report that Simba was found badly injured by rail tracks this morning and has had to be pts due to her injuries .
My thoughts are with her family at this heartbreaking time . Rest in peace free from pain beautiful Simba xx

Is it worth the owner contacting network rail or whoever maintains the railway at the back of Silverwood in case Simba is spotted along there?
I'm out of the area currently but if Simba isn't found by early next week I could have a walk through Silverwood and the campsite?

Simba escaped from the garden after someone had opened the gate.
She currently lives in Dodworth but her owner has moved there from the Brierley area of Barnsley. There is a slight possibility she may try to make her way to Brierley but I understand she has been sighted near woods in the Silkstone area where people tried to catch her . She is a VERY nervious dog and if seen please do not chase after her but call the owners ASAP

I've just looked on the We are Barnsley page on FB, but couldn't see anything about a Chow..Wonder if Simba could be trying to find her way back to the previous address?.Hope she's found very soon..There's not many Chows about so she should be easily spotted x
